I knew this would happen since I heard it in my head a day or two ago but I really like Endlessly now, more than ToaDA.
Fuck.
-
KoC only works at the beginning or end of a set. It would suck midset.
I know, what's up with that, a lot of other 6+ minute songs with pretty varied structures work anywhere.
It might just work as the closer to the main set before the encores.
-
edit: and I swear I mentioned showbiz??
Probably man, SS just comes off as a recurring theme.
-
but wouldn't you prefer a '04 style SS performance even if it was only at wembley rather than never at all (once wouldn't kill him that quickly..)SS nowdays is so restrained cos he is always saving up for Koc which imo should be earlier in the set.
Although we get riffs they are not so mental
and they could still play SS with more passion even if he saved his voice.I think the ups and downs of Muse's performances are more complex that where and how Stockholm Syndrome is performed.
-
but can you really say that they have ever captures the "pwoper muse" of the SS performances in '04 at earls court and glasto ever since?? they haven't smashed the stage or screamed the last line ever since and I don't think I am the only one who misses that.... we just get KoC every night for over a year now
SS almost always gets about 2/3's of the post riffage. I think it's to do with the publicity and accessability of the glasto performance that people believe it was head and shoulders above the rest.
This tour, people were worried about the Glitteratti being broken in a New Born post riffage destruction spree where he'd smashed the guitar and thrown it into the drums again. And that was just a standard arena date with handcam rtecordings on youtube.
I'm not expecting them to be as outrageous at Glast next Saturday, but it's not a stretch of the imagination at all for them to go ahead and do it again.
-
I wouldn't say they ever went down hill, they kept getting better since day one and sort of peaked. They're a bit stuck catering to two very different audiences and I think they're doing it superbly.
They've had phenominal shows post BHaR, Royal Albert Hall 2008 anyone? A couple of rarities amidst the classics and popular singles goes a long way, and they have tried to do that again even if it is just Bliss and CE forever.
Just as long as they dont forget their greats of the past, they're golden.

Futurism's bassline still beats almost every aspect of Dead Star / In Your World.
Chris should find somewhere in the setlist to just throw it out there.
-
How controversial.
Sometimes they give less than 100%

Overture is the best Exogenesis.
Overture is the worst exogenesis
-
Hoodoo live doesn't compare to the album version one bit.
-
Feeling Good is a good song.
Hence the avatar?

I'd love to see Soldier's Poem live
Â
Maybe tacked onto a setlist with no strings attached, but instead of another song?
Â
Madness
-
I love Unintended live. <3
Â
I hope it stays in the set.
Â
If you also want Soldier's poem in there, you're the worst person

Fury and The Groove are overrated.
I'd agree with you on Fury, the intro's awesome but the other 85%-ish is a tad "meh".

City of Delusion.
I Will Avvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnngggeeeeeeee

I guess this technically counts as Live even without an audience.

Futurism, best Muse bassline. I'd love to see them at least Jam some of it with a little bit of Kaoss Pad thrown in for good measure.
-
Hysteria.
I forgot how SEXY that bass is. And the guitar solo? Beautiful.
Give me your heart and your soul.
It may interest you to know that Hysteria doesn't have a keeper.
-
They have. Just look at the Celine Dion case.
I think he meant the word "Exogenesis" in which case, I doubt they have.
muse haven't released a good album since ok computerI see what you did there

Lberate Tutemae

And on the wankdorf subject, maybe only British people would understand why i't's funny? I may be wrong, it's like the equivalent of it being called the "Jerkoff jam"
I guess it would be the Jerkoff-Dorf Jam.
-
MK jam is good, but....no.
Just in terms of names for secret CIA projects.

MK Wankdorf > MK Ultra
