  1. Actually, my experience with this type of show is that it is not separate - everyone waits in line, goes up to the table, shows ID, gets ticket (which is really just a technicality only because NY State bars paperless shows), probably gets it scanned right there (or maybe not scanned at all), and goes right in. Otherwise, it makes it easier for the scalpers this is trying to prevent.

This is more what I was expecting. I don't think we will ever be "in control" of our tickets to prevent scalping. I figured if I get there a little after the doors open the initial rush of those who have been camped out will have died down.

I'm assuming there is no opening act and that Muse will come on sometime around 8:30 so getting there around 6:45 should give plenty of time.

  2. Does anyone know the protocol for the will call? I'm trying to plan out my day/night in NYC (originally from NY but currently stuck in FL so trying to maximize my time). I'm not looking to get anywhere near the front, this place is plenty small. Would getting there around 6:30 work? Im assuming you just wait in a line and they check off your name and give you a wristband or something and let you in?

  3. Starlight and SMBH can go away for this show. Drop in Fury/Futurism/Assassin/Microcuts/Dead Star/Hyper Music etc in for those songs.

Also possibility of The Handler being live premier at this show? They were talking about playing a new Drones song from the album live soon, maybe these shows will be the start?

Completely agree with you but I bet they at least play one, if not both, especially here in the US. Wouldn't mind seeing a new song but not at the expense of a rarity (we're guaranteed the new songs on the official tour).

Would love to replace them with a hyper music and showbiz

  4. It is a gamble, I've had duplicate orders cancelled just one set and both orders. You may want to call and ask

I called yesterday. Was told they may notice and if they do both would be cancelled. Explained it was a mistake and they refunded one. Still have w confirmation for the others so I am hoping I will be OK. Still nervous R about it though and will probably log in to ticketweb daily to make sure they are still listed.

  5. I called the venue. Since my mom bought the tickets, they're under her name. I just need to bring a copy of her ID. I'm assuming you'd be fine.

My wife called and they said its a good thing she did. It is a strict two person limit and if they see the same name they will cancel it. They are going to try to refund one but said there is still a chance they all get cancelled. We won't know for 2-3 days! This is terrible.

  6. I wound up getting tickets, as did my wife, but both sets are under my name. Will this be an issue? We got both confirmation emails so I am hoping it is OK.

What is everyone expecting out of this? Wl it be similar in length and set list as the smaller venue UK shows?

  7. No it didn't. Just the making of video of it.

The countdown section really could be one of the coolest bits of a song they've done in years and years.

Where can one see the making of video? Was it mailed to people?

  8. You know that I made a </3 and not a <3, right? Just making sure.

And the smaller the better imo, just as long as the place is full. I'd take a packed basement of a bar over an arena gig anyday.

I saw it Sippe, I just quoted you because you brought it to my mind by also saying you didn't like them.

  9. Ugh, stadium gigs </3

Why does everyone get excited about stadium gigs? I would much rather see a band in an arena. The acoustics/views of all the concerts I have seen in stadiums are nowhere near as good as an arena. I will take a place like MSG any day of the week.

I can't really see Muse playing any stadiums in North America other than baseball stadiums, which are much smaller than our football stadiums.
