    I think if the album is going to have a cohesive military/psychopathic/conspiracy theory filled album (god i pray it does) it'll be more about feeling dead inside because we're all just drones and have no control over anything or something

     

    I made my tracklist interpretation at other thread but against what other people think I believe Dead Inside will be VERY critical song towards the society. I think it can be the too offensive song number 2. Psycho is gonna be offensive however I doubt it will be aimed towards the society. It will be towards the leaders so it can unite the audiene. However "Dead Inside" can put the aim on society thus audience. Shitting on us on how we are motionless about injustice, inequality and other stuff. We are "Dead Inside"

     

    ha yeah I figured it wouldn't be - just a thought. and me sort of hoping for some lovey angst (that sounds ridiculous) cause I can't resist it. but am definitely more than keen for psycho/drone/military theme throughout

     

    I like the way you put it though, Arcanom - was loving your interpretation of the artwork too. I was coming to similar conclusions re: armless army etc. and you put it into words nicely

    Got me there. As far as I know, at least in academic contexts, I see the two used interchangeably. I don't know if Matt knows the nuance between the two, and I see his tweet as being more of an attempt at humor than an attempt to say something will happen at that time. I'd be glad to be proven wrong, just rereading it more objectively, it makes sense.

     

    EDIT: I actually am serious lol. I mean considering how many times the fanbase has interpreted things to be something (i.e. Apple event) and nothing happened, I have low expectations for this "theory"

    You have a valid point though, he could have mistaken e.g. for i.e. Though let's hope he knows the difference and it means something/anything

    To be honest it was my only disappointment with the gig i got to go to on t2l tour, Perth had Hyper Music and Citizen Erased, Melbourne had Citizen Erased and Fury and Agitated and Adelaide got Bliss and something else that i can't remember, but Sydney got Butterflies and Hurricanes - which while it was the highlight of the night I'd already seen before, would've been nice to have gotten another rarity but what're you gonna do

     

    (Brisbane got no rarities..... Not one)

     

    Any thoughts on them playing splendour in the grass? It's the same weekend as Fuji so it obviously seems unlikely. However considering BDO is no more... And I personally am not sure how long I can wait

    Seb I think I saw you too, just going off your avatar picture and the blue shirt.

    If you look at the thrust from the floor, I was on the right-hand corner that sticks out.

    2nd Muse gig, 1st time on barrier :happy: Had a really good time despite the setlist. Apparently the band only flew into Brisbane that afternoon, and they didn't have time to soundcheck any songs, so basic setlist was played.

    And that's shit, I heard it was because Kate came to visit Matt in melb or something? Which is fair enough if it's true but made it pretty unlucky for us haha

    Make that 4!!

     

    The crowd was pretty (very) tame where I was (a few rows back in front of Matt). And I guess the average set made up for what we got on the second night last time. Definitely loved finally seeing unnatural selection live though.

     

    Haha cool. T'ville invasion!

     

    Yeah unnatural was great. But yeah pretty annoying getting no real rarities :( still had a great time
