I've only seen them once (sigh). It was a good show - it was at an outdoor amphitheater in '99 after Up came out.
Unfortunately their shows are always crazy-expensive and, until fairly recently, I've been on a starving-student income. I don't know why they don't factor concerts and beer-pong into financial aid and student loans!
Hopefully they come to LA again soon.

Oh that's awesome! Is he as nice in person as he seems?
Living in the LA area makes it impossible to run into musicians in small settings. Even at the smaller venues there are always a hundred other more obnoxious fans in the way. But I bet all the boys are really great and down to earth! Well, okay, maybe not Stipe as much as the others. I imagine Peter being a great person - he seems like it in his writing.

um... not a lot of activity here, huh? Maybe a good discussion needs to be started? What Muse song(s) do you hope makes it onto the New Moon soundtrack? My #1 pick is Apocolypse Please (after all, it is the end of the world without Edward Cullen!) and my #2 would be Sing for Absolution.

No worries - hopefully you have more of a life than myself and don't have time to reach out to everyone you come across on message boards! Despite a full time job, I'm usually here M-F 9:00AM-6:00PM PST. Helps pass the time. Not that I play on the internet at work--I would never waste company resources like that! (whistle-whistle-look away.)

Hey Coven- Anyone else surprised by the amount of animosity towards Twilight on these boards? I would think any intoroduction to Muse would be considered a good introduction. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Stephenie Meyer's recommendation. (although I'd be a little less poor for all that I've spent on Muse music in the past year.) hmmm... Well, in any case, I'm glad to see you all here!
