Haven't listened to the clip yet because I'm on my phone but I'm guessing it's like a wild, loud guitar solo? I'm hearing comparisons to New Born and Recess?
-
That was a great song to end on. One of my all time favourites.

Guys I have the release date:
2015
Doubtful.

I get the feeling the #thanksZane trend on Twitter will be used in the same way as #thanksObama
-
Plot twist: 0615 is the guitar tab for the main riff to the first single.
We must go deeper.
-
Has there been any type of hint or teaser that point towards there being another piano song? Completely forgot.
There was an Instagram pic on the Muse account of Matt playing the piano. Would link you to it but I'm on an iPod with very low battery.
Edit: balls.

madness. I want to do MEAN things when I hear it. that's also an emotion, right..?
No. No emotion for you. You're dead inside.

I dreamt I heard the new single last night. It sounded like Panic Station only with heavier guitar, and the swear count was five: three fucks, a shit and a cunt.
-
What is a bebo?
Like a wannabe Myspace. Best to forget about it.
-
I just went in the links section and never realized before that Muse has a Bebo.
We don't talk about Bebo...

Radio 1 didn't really demote Muse; they said it would depend on the next record.
But yes, there are other radio stations, and lets face it, they don't really need Radio 1 to hype it enough for them. The internet will market it plenty.

I thought Wembley was 70k
For gigs it is, as the seats behind the stage aren't used (unless they do a gig in the middle of the pitch like Foo Fighters did).
The actual seating capacity of Wembley is 90,000 though.

Drones will airdrop copies of the single, therefore sending fans on a treasure hunt. 0615 are clearly coordinates people...
-
Even though I'm sure it won't be, I really hope that drone picture isn't the album art.

V headliners are Calvin Harris and Kasabian. There goes that non-rumour.
-
*sigh* Sorry, just had some bad news, and I'm taking it out on the wrong thing. I could really do with some good news, that's all. It's nothing against Muse, just not happy at the moment.
Keep your chin up
Remember... #soon

V Festival is a pop festival. Expect Katy Perry or Miley Cyrus announcement.
And yet Muse have headlined it twice. Foo Fighters, RHCP, Kings Of Leon, Stereophonics and Kasabian have also headlined it.
Don't think they'll headline it though. As far as I know they're a UK exclusive for Download.
-
Now why would this make any sense considering Matt specifically name dropped the title of the single?
He didn't necessarily say it was a single though. Remember we heard Unsustainable first in the build up to T2L.

Memes incoming.

If you're going all three days, go see Marilyn. The Pale Emperor is a good album and when I went to see them, they played like 5-6 songs from the new one.
Problem with that is he is clashing with Muse... a shame as I wanted to see him too.
Those who want to see both, Marilyn Manson will end about 40 mins before Muse will, so you can catch both. For me though, I'll be at Muse.

Nothing sounds cringey here my friend. Embrace the feels.

Couldn't track down a thread for this, so thought I'd ask.
Are there any moments from the band that make any of you Muse fans particularly emotional?
For me, I was very moved by the Exogenesis Part 3: Redemption music video, so I can't even listen to it any more without experiencing a little emotion.
I also love the end of Knights of Cydonia at Reading 2011 - something about the climax of the song that looks all triumphant and it reminds me of every single time I've seen them play it live, so I feel the feels.

Heard the Instagram clip and I like it! Didn't give me the same feeling I had when Matt was playing the riff on the 7-string, but it's still good.
