My cousin certainly doesn't. He showed me this over Christmas. There haven't really been any in a while but it's a good laugh.

Yeah coming back to Seattle was a huge shock. Never bundle up at this time of year but I'm in five layers right now.
To be fair, it is below zero here currently.
-
It was a great holiday, I'm just happy to have gone at all; we used to be able to pay for the airfare with mileage but not anymore.
-
I'm already back in Seattle. Might be applying for a study abroad programme in at Victoria in Wellington for this July or next though!
-
I just got internet, it's been a whirlwind but I'm finally settled in at Tauranga with my auntie and uncle currently. Mighty humid here!

10 days until I leave! 12 until I arrive! Got to love the whole losing a day thing.
I leave on New Year's Eve eve. Any later and it would've been two New Years Days!
40 days today until I leave the country! D: -
Two weeks until I'm on Kiwi soil in time for my first summer Christmas in sixteen years. Excite!

Oh Whedon.

Just need to drop playing anything from the Resistance and have Stockholm Syndrome and MOTP and I'll be happy I think.
Add Starlight to that and we have an accord.
-
It's definitely still around it just might be getting rotated with bliss a bit this tour.
Big Freeze isn't really that bad if you accept that it basically IS a U2 song.
Guess that's not too bad really, seeing as Bliss was dead for so long.
-
So Plug In Baby hasn't made the cut for this tour?

Supremacy and Panic Station seem to be universally approved and I agree. I like Survival more than most people but the lyrics do dampen the experience considerably. Follow Me, Animals, and Liquid State are all pleasing my ears for now but I'm going to get tired of them soon. Both 2nd Law tracks are great listens IMO.
-
They better play Stockholm Syndrome at one of my gigs. Do not want Save Me.
I just never want to hear Starlight ever again.
-
Surprised by the use of the brass on Supremacy and Panic Station, but it works so well.

It's so good. SO good.

When I'm in Auckland...can you take me to Spookers?
Ooh I could do Waitomo Caves and take a surfing lesson in Raglan when I'm around Hamilton. Love that I'm trying to think of things to do outside of Hamilton....
Waitomo's well worth it, just don't bruise your tailbone falling off any waterfalls like I did.

S'alright. Nothing special either way to me, but its
are far better songs. -
So how is New Zealand doing overall? American telly is absolute crap and never shows anything that is "not tailored to the American audience."

Thread's dead?
Just wanted to pop in and say g'day, and I got my plane tickets to head home this coming Christmas. It's been ages since I came down during the summertime, should be great.

This thread's just been bad news lately.

Well Carter's gone. Shit. Clicky

Yeah, I thought the US played superbly. It was great to see them get a try at the end there.
And I agree about American football. Don't see the appeal of it at all. They play for about 5 seconds then stand around and talk for several minutes.
It's really ironic how it's such a technical sport where not much actually happens, and yet the thickest of the thick are the ones who play it.
On a different note, a Facebook ad alerted me to the fact that I can enrol for voting since I was back down under for over a month, so now I'm all set for that!
-
Well the US did better today than expected - couldn't believe how well their defence held in the first half. I had a few mates over who were curious about the World Cup and I was trying to explain why things are the way they are in rugby, not necessarily the rules, and the general consensus was "wow, I didn't know rugby was so intense. It just doesn't stop!"
I hate American football. So, so much.

Got this sent to me four times on Facebook yesterday. Can't wait to come home now, now that NZ's beaten US to the punch.
