City of Delusion
I wish Muse felt the same (and brought it back...).
-
This thread should be named "songs that'll never return".
-
They should play it twice in the same gig.
It should also close the main set and open the first encore.
-
Take a Bow sits as both an epic opener and closer.
-
Can't wait to hear Starlight again.
-
I'm sorry, but this is a really stupid thing to say.
Because I ate too many Twirls.
-
Shame her music is such shit.
Watching the EMA's shows us that 95% of music these days is shit.
-
Hope they play in Japan/Korea early next year; definitely planning to see Muse in Asia rather than Europe this time around now!
-
-
Filip will come back this tour. YEP.
-
Songs for next tour:
Showbiz - NONE
OOS - PiB and FG
Absolution - TIRO and Hysteria
BH&R - SMBH, Starlight, KoC
TR - Uprising, Resistance, UD, maybe USoE... probably GL to give us the middle finger
New Album - all the cheesy ones
END.
-
Blackout...?
-
It's gonna be a bit shit.
-
-
Not a song, but the whole of the Showbiz album. I rate this much more the The Resistance, for sure!
-
Coke Live '10 in Poland:
I love the girl's scream when he finally starts playing; "Omg a rare!!!".
-
Hullabaloo! Listening to it now with the lights down low and it pouring with rain outside gives me the heeby jeebies!
-
Leeds/Reading would be good! If V Fest 2008 (IE, latter gigs playing festivals) is anything to go by then it would be worth going to.
-
I guess I made a huge mistake when getting tickets for gigs this tour. I should've just saved ALL the money I spent on going to 7 gigs, and just gone to Australia for the second night in Brisbane. The end result would have been pretty much the same...
...
...I don't get it.
The problem was that the European BH&R tour was fantastic in terms of variety, so we all assumed that this tour would be the same. Thus, we bought a load of tickets thinking that each night would be different but it turned out that it was all samey and rather pants.

The Muse forums: where Take That and Lady Gaga fans come to deride Muse for making poppy songs and having predictable setlists with over the top production.
Most "pop" bands do have static setlists (IE:- Gaga, Take That, Pet Shop Boys) because so much choreography with the dancers and the huge sets. Muse are a rock band, so they shouldn't need to have all this to put on a good show.
-
In all seriousness, Muse are probably supporting U2 because it's an easy payday, they'll get a set fee and have to do feck all apart from turn up with instruments and pedals. It's very unlikely they'll do their own full shows as well, if they end up doing more than a couple of support shows.
But I remember reading during the BH&R tour how much Muse loved the South American fans. And yet, they can't be arsed to provide these fans with their own gigs but rather make fans play shitloads for shit U2 tickets just for 7-8 songs?
-
I thought Muse wanted to take a year off? Supporting U2 in South America seems really pointless, seeing as they could sell out their own gig in Brazil without the need to support U2?!

WOLSTENBEAST.
Man, this needs to come back.
But Alix, it doesn't contain any clapping parts so Matt can't bring it back.
-
Completely yes to all of them.
Listen to the Earls Court 04 TSP. It has Chris vocals, but so much energy, Matt's vocals are insane, he's basically just screaming them. And a lot of riffage. Awesome.
Everyone bow the fuck down to the sheer awesomeness of this. Distorted vocals, crazy playing.
Totally... perfect!
Muse need to SERIOUSLY bring back TSP.
Muse – Live At Rome Olympic Stadium To Be Released On DVD & Blu-Ray

This is very poor representation of the tour so far. We've had some great songs make a return and yet we have one of the most bland setlists ever for the DVD and CD. Reminds me of the lack of Bliss, CE, CoD etc for HAAAAARP.
