I'm hoping that they will have learnt from most of the mistakes they made this tour. Every band will have a low point, let's hope this was muses.
(in before dee tells me I'm wrong)
Probably a success in their eyes

Yes, it really is.
You always hear people saying "omg the Invincible solo is amazing, it's the best thing ever" when in reality it's just basic tapping to make a shit song slightly more exciting. Big deal.
Well, you mustn't think much of his other solos then!
(Not that I agree that difficulty level is the only gauge on whether a solo is a good one)

Glasto '04 tone > all other points of Muse history.
Do you mean you prefer the distortion mic?...

When I heard the New Born that was played at Leeds University in 2001 on youtube it sounded too fast haha! I must be used to their slower version... But in all honesty it doesn't bother me, I think there are other more important areas (guitar tone, matt's more powerful voice and in my opinion, nicer tone) to me that make the more recent versions (only where matt's playing the piano), like L&R '11, Teignmouth '09, Berlin '09, the best versions of the song I've heard!

Why does everyone hate Resistance?
I was joking on both occasions but I really dislike the song.
The song's fine until the chorus kicks in.
For the next tour I wouldn't mind if they keep USoE. I'd like it played with a piano outro (not the Chopin piece), maybe the instrumentals to Exo. 3?

I heard boos when Undisclosed Desires started at Leeds Fest.
That was me.
Hear the ones for 'Resistance' too?

I would absolutely love a Muse gig at Brixton, whether it's for an album launch or anything else...favourite gig venue ever by a long way!
What's so good about it?
-
Not very hard. Muse are quite overpriced and Khoma are brilliant.
How much do you expect to pay to see muse?
-
I think they should have a better balance of smaller/larger venues for the next tour, you know, more Shepherd Bush sized gigs.

Have to agree that is the best performance of sunburn.

Selling the Matt Bellamy Reading 2006 jacket on eBay.

New Born, Reading 2007.
Nah, the one I sang in the bathroom this morning is the best version

I can't get over how awesome the last chorus is.

My favourite version of Muscle Museum:

3 mins in, it's unbelievable. It seems a more sincere performance than most MM performances I've seen. Also you can hear the final notes far better than on the Astoria performance

Hey now. I love Exo-Politics.I've always liked Exo-Politics too. I don't understand the hate it gets.Exo-Politics>MK Ultra
YES!

I dunno, I quite like the versions from 2008 (V-fest, RAH...) where he used the kaoss pad on his guitar for the bit between synth and guitar - sounded pretty sweet. Thought his vocals were marginally better as well.

Darkshines.
Listening a lot to it recently - making sure I know the lyrics for Leeds fest .

Fuji Rock Festival 2010 is imo the best version of KoC

Edit: Tried to embed the video but couldn't work out how so here is the url anyway
I embedded that video earlier on in this thread. Absolutely agree with you. BEST. VERSION. EVER!

Citizen Erased at Wembley '10.
New Born at Teignmouth '09 but the outro to the Wembley '07 one is epic.
-
Actually one of the most interesting things I find on the new album is how many different singing styles he has.
-
I don't think the Stockholm Syndrome at Glasto '04 is the best version. The sound quality of both the instrumentals and vocals are horrible. Okay Matt looks a bit angry and it conveys into his playing but jesus does the sound hurt my ears.
I actually think the Stockholm Syndromes of this tour have been the best I've heard.
ACTUALLY I think his vocals are the best I've heard from him on this tour. So much of a nicer tone. Just listen to falsetto in the chorus for CE at Wembley to see what I mean.

Exo-Politics. I really do believe it's better than any song on their new album.
Speculation on future gigs/tours

I also found this fucked up and brought it up a while back. No wonder he's the most vocal about repetitive set-lists.
