  1. 9 gigs, really? no wonder you complain so much  Who needs to see the same band on the same tour so many times? I saw them three times (arena, stadium and a festival) and I thought it was more than enough, even excessive.

I also found this fucked up and brought it up a while back. No wonder he's the most vocal about repetitive set-lists.

  2. I'm hoping that they will have learnt from most of the mistakes they made this tour. Every band will have a low point, let's hope this was muses.

(in before dee tells me I'm wrong)

Probably a success in their eyes

  3. Yes, it really is.

You always hear people saying "omg the Invincible solo is amazing, it's the best thing ever" when in reality it's just basic tapping to make a shit song slightly more exciting. Big deal.

Well, you mustn't think much of his other solos then!

(Not that I agree that difficulty level is the only gauge on whether a solo is a good one)

  4. When I heard the New Born that was played at Leeds University in 2001 on youtube it sounded too fast haha! I must be used to their slower version... But in all honesty it doesn't bother me, I think there are other more important areas (guitar tone, matt's more powerful voice and in my opinion, nicer tone) to me that make the more recent versions (only where matt's playing the piano), like L&R '11, Teignmouth '09, Berlin '09, the best versions of the song I've heard!

  5. Why does everyone hate Resistance? :(

I was joking on both occasions but I really dislike the song.

The song's fine until the chorus kicks in.

For the next tour I wouldn't mind if they keep USoE. I'd like it played with a piano outro (not the Chopin piece), maybe the instrumentals to Exo. 3?

  6. I don't think the Stockholm Syndrome at Glasto '04 is the best version. The sound quality of both the instrumentals and vocals are horrible. Okay Matt looks a bit angry and it conveys into his playing but jesus does the sound hurt my ears.

I actually think the Stockholm Syndromes of this tour have been the best I've heard.

ACTUALLY I think his vocals are the best I've heard from him on this tour. So much of a nicer tone. Just listen to falsetto in the chorus for CE at Wembley to see what I mean.
