  1. I think bumbling is a less manic form of plodding. Aye i do have a FB, i'll PM it so i don't have loads of interweb robots invading my bookface page.

  2. Hi, there :)

Indeed it has been a while, Hows it been going? What are you up to these days? I'm fine thanks, still bumbling along pretty much as i always have been.

  3. The job was ok but as the years went on they wanted more and more from me for less and less from them. I was on the same wage as people doing lighter work elsewhere in the company and i slowly found that to not be very fun. Wasn't a terrible place by any means but it just wasn't the same as it was when i started there and you're right, i became 'bored out of my arse'

Lol how so...calling yourself a shithead? Btw how went your holidays???

Yeah, i suppose i'm a bit self depreciative like that lol. The hols were ok but i had so much to do which i havn't done and its all due on monday. fun times, its what i signed up for though :)

  4. Happy new year to you too, hope you had a good one :)

  5. A very happy Christmas to you too :)

  6. My job used to be a bit meh, there was no prospects for furthering myself in my career. I went from being one of seven people running one machine to being one person running seven machines. Work is the people you do the job with as much as the task you are doing and i didn't like having no one to talk to, and i asked for a pay rise under the reason that i was running a department in the factory (a department of one person lol) but they laughed me out the joint so i went back to education to go do a job i could get some enjoyment from.

Awesome find there, thats the comic i took my name from. There's a cell in it where the human introduces himself as "Hi, i'm Atavar shithead" and i could really relate to him.

  7. I count my lucky pixelated stars every night. 'twas awesome :) hectic life did indeed get in the way, it has a habit of inconveniencing me in my quest to enjoy myself.

I understand the problem there, its not as if the customers don't know working anywhere is just a little bit crap. They have jobs too after all. The only people its kidding are little kids who think the "Happy Meal" really is made of real "happy".

  8. Great news on the job :) Yay for money :)

Everything is ticking over as chaotically as ever it was which is just about par the course. Wembley was incredible. I was at the one recorded for HAARP, i'm one of the pixels at the back of the golden circle.

  9. hello there, how goes everything?

  10. The downer thing here about theory is that they expect you to know all the 'arguments' about it and then continue the argument. :(

  11. Dr. Lazebnikova sounds very cool, actually. Thats the name of a doctor who treats the wounded and kicks the arse of the time wasters too. The photog is going ok, got an old camera running the way i want it nearly, just need some film to test the shutter is working propperly. Need to read up on theory now for yr2 at uni. Should find some general mindfuckery there.

  12. Ah, yes i remember. It is a cool sirname, you can change it by depoll if you wish?

  13. Sorry Lasur, i don't think my girlfriend would like it. She'd probbably pull my head from my shoulders.

  14. The lovelife is going well thanks, just had the year and a half anniversery last saturday. We went to the beach and made sandcastles :)

  15. Work is fine, i think they'd like me to stick around and get rid of some others instead lol. Great news on your stethis-gift, thats really encourageing. I didn't know what i really wanted to do until i was 24, which i know is of no help to you whatsoever. Wish i'd known when i was 18, then i could have been a lot further down the line now. its almost embarrasing.

  16. You lucky person, getting to enjoy the holidays and not work them :)

I checked Flikr for other people who have used this camera, i am impressed enough. I'm not expecting magic results but i am expecting useable ones.

  17. Aww, thats probbably the most heartbreaking thing i've read on here. Don't worry, once i've finished summer work and don't have to get out of bed at 5am every day i'll be back on the chatboard. Probs september when i go back to uni.

How are your placements going? :)

  18. Technology moves on. They stoped making this kinda camera in the 60's as better things came along, started making useable ones in the 40's and passable ones in the 20's. I like the look of them, they sell cheap now and the film is still available.

    What you been up to?

  19. The hunt is going ok, have my eyes on several different ones at the moment.

  20. Go into User CP, click on 'Edit Your Details' and its in there.

Lincolnshire is ok. Fields and... fields. not as good as Starz. I'm hunting for classic cameras on eBay. Why can't 50/60/70 year old cameras be in 100% working order?

  21. Cool new direction. Learn from others mistakes, but don't let their failures effect your potential sucsesses. See how your placement goes :)

  22. Greetings person who lives amongst the Starz! i am very well thanks, hows yourself :)

  23. I reduce in the packing department. We get foodstuffs in bulk and reduce it into smaller packaging for resale to customers. Can be anything from a 5kg bag up to a tonne of product to resize. I used to work on the atuo-pack machine before going back to education, its the same but deals in longer runs faster than the standard packing department. Factory work sounds dull but if you're working with good people it can be brilliant and it lets you think about other things which is great if you're creative (or think you are).

I take it your internship is all part of getting work expiriance for trying to get into the medical profession? If it is you're doing exactly the right thing. It may be a pain in the bum now but when a prospective uni/work place sees you have expeiriance they should be delighted.

    Nice new profile picture, btw.

  24. I've got summer work in a food factory i used to work in before i quit to go off to education again. Its really good of them to have taken me back every summer, suppose i wasn't as bad a worker as i thought i was LOL. I don't have to commute a long way though, its just a walk away. Where are you working?

  25. Everything is ticking over fairly well, haven't been on here in a while until recently so i'm glad i caught your message as soon as i did. I've been working for the summer holidays and the shift starts at 6am. Not as bad as it sounds as i get out of work at 2pm :)
