    LOL. Too bad, such a contrast to listening to the HAARP CD and Showbiz which is what I've been doing for the past few hours. :p So its past 12 already, was it played? or could it be that they wanted to spread the Miley Cyrus love-fest so much they forgot about Uprising? Meh. wouldn't be surprised at all if that was the case. :LOL:

    Nope they didnt play it!! But i tuned into hitz quite late so maybe they played it before i tuned in? Or they didnt play it at all. I dont know. BAH. :mad:

    I seldom listen to the radio for the unforgivable lack of MUSE-ic, but despite already having heard Uprising, I might have to tune in to the radios tomorrow just for the sake of it. :D

    Haha me too! I'm really curious on what the radio DJs have to say, and how they're going to bring it about!

     

    Nut, like I told you earlier on MSN, you could always drive up to the border of singapore/JB and tune in :D

    Ohhh man Uprising sounds .. erm, how should I put it... HOT. LOL. I can definitely picture myself dancing to this haha. but Matt... rapping? Sounds weird to me lol. I hope it doesnt turn too hiphop-ish.

     

    it does sounds a bit weird especially the "sia" part lol, but i've learned to accept it and is now used to it and love it! lol :D

     

    and i do want tickets to MTV World Stage too :'(

     

    I got tickets for MTV World Stage!!!! :D :D :D :D Well, passes la, I think. I'm not even sure which area I'll be standing at, because I have to collect it on the day itself. I got it the cheating way... ie, paying money for it. Because I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to watch my #1 guilty pleasure band All American Rejects play live! even though they kinda suck live.. :chuckle:

    Yeah I guess USoE does need some getting used to. I felt the same way about Take A Bow the first time i heard it too, and after a few listens, I've grown to love it :D

     

    Nah MTV World Stage isnt the same thing as MTV Asia Awards. The program 'World Stage' on MTV is basically just a live show of a band, hosted by MTV. MTV Asia Awards on the other hand, is .. well, yeah, an award show!

     

    I'm not using the new skin. It makes scrolling REALLY laggy on my computer, so I'm back to using stars :happy:

    Am I the only one who thinks UoSE sounds a bit weird? Especially at the end... haha. the 'sia' bit. Maybe its just something I have to get used to... lol. It sounds really nice at first, at the slower bit, then it sounds VERY queen-esque, and then very Egyptian, and then just creepy at the 'sia' bit :chuckle:

     

    OMG I want those MTV World Stage tickets so badly :'(

    Yes that exact part of We Are The Champions lol! It's gona be a good sing-a-long i think. Chris's bass sounds so phat:pimp:

     

     

     

    You are so right about Harry + Ginny. And you got to admit Luna was excellent!

    Yep the famous ocean splitting scene in the Ten Commandments. If you've got nothing to do one day, I highly recommend you go watch that epic movie. The effects were awesome, way ahead of its time :)

    I couldn't recall the scene of the cave as described in the book tbh! Maybe next time I should read HP7 again before watching the movie.:p

    One other thing was how the trio didn't seem too bothered about the death of Dumbledore, while casually discussing what Harry should do next. :stunned:

    About Ron, I think he looks more and more like Dom, thanks to his hair of course. (But maybe it's because I miss Muse, man)

     

     

    lol there's a longer version now. The part where he sings 'united states' sounds soooo much like a national anthem :chuckle::LOL:

     

     

    yeah Luna was sooo good la :D and we finally got to see her infamous griffindor hat! :D I felt a bit weird seeing Tonks call Lupin 'sweetheart' though. And I felt like tearing up when the Burrow was on fire! :'( But they just left it hanging there.. like.. wut. So that happened to The Burrow? Did they fix it up? lol. and so weird la, seeing Ginny tying Harry's shoes :chuckle: what was up with that. hahaha. ok sorry I'm rambling a bit.

     

    haha I tooootally dont remember HP7. I didnt really enjoy the book. The forest scene was too long I actually wanted to stop reading :$. Yeah they seemed so... indifferent about Dumbledore's death when they were talking at the astronomy tower. But when Harry was like crying over Dumblydore's body, wah, I was holding my tears in haha.

     

    We all miss Muse la :( they're teasing us so much with their ununited states of eurasia! lol.

    OMG there's part 4 and what can i say? Queen-we-are-the-champions meets EPIC Mid-Eastern STRINGS!!!!!! THIS IS GONA BE RAD LIVE.

    I saw HP6 last night! I love the fact that it was better paced. Lol not much muscling around though, huh?

     

     

    The Hocrux cave scene where Dumbledore created the wave-like fire was FUCKIN awesome man! It was like Moses in the Ten Commandments, if you've seen it Debbie hehe!

     

     

    OMG YEAH!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of Queen's We Are The Champions upon hearing that song. I swear, before that 'must we do as we're told?' part, i felt like singing Queen's "ONNN AND ONNN AND ONNN AND weeeeeeeeeeeeee are the champiooons my friiieeeeeendsss". lol. srsly. :chuckle:

     

     

    I love the added comedy in the movie lor. Lavender Brown + Ron, srsly, hilarious hahaha. Ron should do more comedies. and yeah, that fire bit, I didnt watch The Ten Commandments but I know what you mean! I thought of the same thing too! like when Moses split the ocean right!! lol. I'm quite emo that the cave wasnt glowing in green like in the book though. it would've been more eerie imo! and there were too little Harry + Ginny bits :noey:

    omg. thank you sooooooo so much for that noor! :happy: hahaha. yay I finally got to hear 1 minute of USOE. I'm getting more and more excited la aiyooo lol

     

    I adore the new layout! <3 When I launched it, I was actually in a cyber cafe and soon enough there was a crowd around asking what's up with this eurasia/station charlie thing lol they thought I was playing a new game or something :LOL:

     

    That lil clip of USoE is such a tease!!!!! I love the cellos. It blends so well with Matt's voice.

     

    Next phase: Moscow and Dubai. So confuzzled...! I think I'm gonna ask a friend in Dubai to go look for that agent lol.

     

    I went and read Wikipedia before watching the movie so I knew how the movie ended lol. Damn spoiler sial. I thought the whole plot was rather . . . meh though - maybe because it's based on a history of sorts. *shrugs* but Bale's hands definiteyl made up for all of that... Especially that one part when we were first introduced to Melvin Purvis... i love his fedora! and how he held it with his hands.... :LOL: Also, that one tiny small screen time between Johnny Depp and Christian Bale! So wasted la, both of them only got one major scene together :(

     

    Think i'll be catching Harry Potter in Penang. Finally finished my final paper today! Road trip starts tmrw. Cannot wait.

     

    I just read the plot of Public Enemies on wikipedia.. its a bit straight forward right? I'm sure there were some metaphorical stuff going on in the movie, especially at the last bit when he was watching the mafia movie..... or maybe i'm just thinking about it too much? i dunno :( Yeah during that short scene with Depp and Bale together, I couldnt help but grin to myself sheepishly :chuckle: Bale is damn hot lar. I cant take it anymore LOL. and he didnt use his raspy batman voice at all which is good! :D I hate that voice. lol.

     

    I finally caught Harry Pottaaaaaa! :awesome: I love it. looooove love love it. I may be a tad biased though because HP6 was my favourite book out of all 7, and this might be my favourite movie out of all er... 8, too. lol. and I havent even seen the last 2 yet :chuckle:. But really, I thought it was really good! :happy: and woohooo road trip! I just got home from a day trip to PD today. The beach was surprisingly nice! haha. I expected it to be really dirty, but it wasnt. so yay :D

    Have you been following the treasure hunt? That Willy guy is like so effin lucky he has a Muse thumbdrive :happy: I slept at 11+ yesterday to follow the whole thing, woke up at 4.50 and went to the microsite to see what was going on, came back from school and went on again even tho I could 'fall asleep with my eyes open' lol, tried to solve the 50 anagrams but couldn't even get one :LOL:, went for piano lessons and I just got back, I'm so effin tired but its all TOO EXCITING!:eek::D

    Wah I missed so much :$ I didnt even know there was a countdown to a new website til i got Muse's email.

     

    I hate to say it, but I will be one of those girls who swoon over Tyson Ritter :$ He's cute laaaaa. AAR kinda sucks live but I still want to see them really badly! :happy: I wish it was true. I should check POTBB more often.

     

    Liz, I finally watched Public Enemies! I had no idea what was going on half the time. All their 'kaki' looks the same to me, I had a hard time telling who was who, whether that dude was a good or bad guy... etcetc :$ But the last part was so sad :(. I know I'd've enjoyed the movie more if I understood what was happening. lol.

     

    I love the new skin!! :D its so pretty haha, but its super laggy on my useless computer so I have to change back to the stars skin. boohoo :(

    Noor wow your experience in Thailand is so inspiring! and like what kak faz said, its a shame that the villagers have that kind of mentality. I remember there's a saying that goes something like... Give a man a fish and he wont starve for a day, teach a man to fish and he wont starve for life.. They should really practice that saying huh? I find it a bit insulting that the neighbour dude actually asked the boy to ask for another house. He's really taking your help for granted and he shouldnt! :( so ungrateful la.

     

    NUUUUT, ARE YOU GOING TO SEE LIVERPOOL IN SINGAPORE IN A FEW WEEKS?? :eek: I wish I could see Torres :(. Anyone going to see Man U? I pity the fangirls who bought their tickets juuuuust to see Ronaldo la :chuckle:

    Yeah I find it kinda surreal that he's really gone :( or maybe I'm just indifferent. I really love Billy Jean though, even more than Thriller if I dare say! :eek: the world is gonna miss him. Did anyone besides Nut get to catch him live? I didnt. I didnt even know he came to Malaysia hahaha.

     

    Oh man I'm having like a loooong holiday now while my other friends are studying/working and i'm so so so boooooored.

    WOW It's been a long time since I visited Muselive, it looks AWESOME now!

    In other news,

     

     

    Tioman was awesome! We stayed in a nice little resort - Melina Beach Resort in Kampung Genting. I went snorkeling for the first time ever!! We weren't able to snorkel quite far as the sea was quite rough. Even so, I saw many corals and colourful fishes! Lol I sound like a small child.But we saw many dead corals too It was all very interesting. Did you know that if you see many sea urchins, it means that the water is polluted with sewage! I just love how the animals act as indicators.

     

    The owner of the resort owns this company where they bring students to different parts of Asia to have 'eco-studies'. They were there with a school group, so we followed them around a bit. As sea turtles are an endangered species, they built a turtle hatchery on the beach a few years ago in efforts to sustain the life of these beautiful creatures. The bury the turtle eggs in a nest, hopefully preventing attacks from predators. And once the turtles hatch, they are freed into the sea..but unfortunately their chances of survival are 1 in 1000 However, we were lucky enough to see them hatch! Well we didn't really see them coming out from their shells (the eggs are buried quite deep), but you'd suddenly see them emerging on the surface of the sand!

     

    All in all, it was a very interesting and wonderful experience! I'll post some pictures next time

     

    INOERITE. The clear blue waters are luffly. I want to go to Sipadan!!! and dive!!! Heh.

     

     

     

    Am off to Thailand tomorrow! Not a holiday, orite! Going with this group to do some relieve work at Khao Lak, a tsunami hit area :happy: See you! *loves* :D

     

    I've hung on there alright, and my A-Levels are officially over!!!!!!!!!!!!! (unless i do so badly that i have to re-sit my modules again :( hopefully that wont happen!! srsly.)

    I think it was because of the recession and them not wanting to fork out a lot of money to bring in bands. Eh, almost no bands at all coming this summer...also, they're probably a bit scared of the bands bringing in H1N1 with them.

     

    Oh yeaaah.. good point, lol. ah well. more money to save up on then :happy: I'm currently planning a trip to melbourne next year! to visit and live with my friends who are currently studying there haha. hope all goes well eh? :happy:

    Aida, I wish I found out about that classical show a little earlier, I love watching cellists in action (it's a hand thing :chuckle: ) but unfortunately, I've already made plans for the free rock festival at Capsquare tomorrow. Anyone else going? Deb, you should since you're done with you A-Levels!! Congrats =D

     

    What new Athlete song?! No, I haven't heard! and Tip Top Curry Puffs! That sounds familiarr... perhaps I'll stop by in August...because Keane's playing Fort Canning on the 13th of Aug! Then again, I doubt I would be able to skip classes since that's on a Thursday.

     

    Yaaarrrghhh, CDs on sale are my weakness. It's the one thing I could never turn down. There was a 50% sale going around MPH's CD section back in May (when I was broke) and gosh, I did so much damage to my pockets. Hell, I saw cassettes going for RM1 earlier this month, and although I had no proper cassette player, I bought so many of them! Starsailor, REM, INXS etc... lol beli je.

     

    LOL speaking of Terminator, I watched it for the second time last night! hahaha. Now I understand what everyone means when they said Sam Worthington's aussie accent pops up a few times. I couldn't help but scrutinize his accent a bit haha :p

     

    Thank youuu! aha but nah i wont be going for that. I'm suuuper busy tomorrow. Prom preparations and stuff. I'm getting my dress tomorrow.. I have to film something for my prom tomorrow.. yeah, lotsa stuff. lol. but eh have fun at the gig!! :D

    Happy birthday to everyone who celebrated their birthdays! There sure are plenty of Taurean & Gem musers around ;) Mel, how did you like the new New Moon trailer?! Tee, it's ridiculous that you saw Kaiser Chiefs, Saosin, Mötley Crüe etc.. and all those other bands, all at the age of 12! but yeah, you go girl! Here's hoping Athlete would come soon..... Oh did anyone mention this here yet? There are rumours floating around regarding a possible Placebo gig in Malaysia sometime in August. Mmm, possible Muser gathering soon?

     

    Debbie's birthday is on December 6th.. or was it 5th? Lol I remember my sister got married on her birthday last year... How's Diner Dash coming along for you btw Deb? ;]

     

    Final year's totally kicking dirt in my face, insulting me with every second that I put off my revision by spending time watching Terminator... and eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts! Yummm. Blah... I have yet to get my priorities right...

     

    I completely forgot about Mogwai on tv last Sunday even with a friendly reminder, but thank God for catch-up-tv! 8tv uploaded the vids here and I strongly advise everyone to watch it :awesome: (if that link requires you to register first, maybe you can try this link instead: Click. I love how the Quickie team decided to put subtitles in for their Scottish accents. and their fascination with monkeys... ROFL.

     

    When Muse tour Malaysia again (notice I'm not saying "if they'll come", but they have to come), this very same team better be out supporting and filming Muse's day outs in KL just like Mogwai/Switchfoot! Providing us with kick ass audio/video from the concert as well! We all know who'll be at the airport greeting Muse, ya?

    Will you be going for Placebo? Despite being able to recognise Brian Molko's voice ANYWHERE, I dont know any of their songs, to be honest. I only know one, that Running Up That Hill song, because it was on The OC :awesome:

    Wow Lily Allen doesnt look like herself in that picture at all! I quite like her actually :D She has spunk. Her music is catchy and her lyrics are damn funny hahaha. I like her song Alfie! :) suuuper cute. I saw her on Jimmy Kimmel a few nights ago! She has short hair now :eek:

     

    okay back to studying friggin Physics and Chemistry! :(

    They should've used those lush pictures of Ewan for a women's magazine la. They'll get more sales that way :p hahaha.

     

    So nice, you guys have holidays :( I on the other hand, have EXAMS. IN 2 WEEKS. And I have never procrastinated more. sigh!

     

    On the other hand, I saw Terminator Salvation last night.

     

    Oh. My. God. Seriously. I didnt know what to expect, and I was so blown away! throughout the whole movie my mouth was half open :eek: it really kept me on the edge of my seat. So thrilling, so absorbing, so friggin GOOD. I think it might be better than Star Trek :eek: and the terminator theme was so.. epic la. I felt shivers, seriously.

     

    Also, watch out for Kyle Reese! Its the same actor who plays Chekov in Star Trek! :happy:

    Ewan totally rocked that priest-robe/cassock right?! the only problem I had was Ewan's accent. "God's awh-sum powahhhs!" :awesome: I couldn't understand if he was trying to sound American or British with a twang of Italian...? I found out later that they made him an Irish priest instead of an Italian one.. no wonder it confused me. Or maybe I'm just too used to his Scottish one.. heh.

     

     

    and yes, I was disappointed that they did not reveal how the old pope was supposed to be Carmerlengo's father :pope: and also the lack of skin action from Ewan :( If I remember correctly, the Carmerlengo in the book went stark naked atop the church or something...before lighting himself with fire? that would've been fun to watch :chuckle: they also killed the Hassassin in such a shallow way. Car bomb, seriously? How could Robert and Vittoria just let him off like that in the tower scene?! there are a lot of characters that they omitted too - Vittoria's adopted father... CERN's top CEO... then again though, I guess you shouldn't expect too much from the book to be transferred in the movie. I'm generally OK with the final outcome...

     

    haha I actually forgot that the Camerlengo was Italian. and I forgot that Ewan was originally scottish too! i thought he was irish since he spoke with an irish accent :LOL: then i remembered the quilt pictures! ah well, he was still very shmexy. and not too long after watching the movie, i saw a men's magazine with Ewan on the cover! i flipped inside and saw like an 8 page spread on him. those pictures were DIVIIIINE :awesome: If only it was a women's magazine. I'd buy it in a heartbeat :chuckle:

     

     

    eh ya hor I actually forgot about the whole self-killing stark-naked part. its been awhile since I last read A&D! Yeah I was a bit taken aback by the car bomb... thinking "EH, that's not supposed to happen!", there arent enough action scenes la. its supposed to be an action movie kan? and yeah.. i vaguely remember Vittoria's adopted father. but I keep getting confused with Sophie Neveau (sp?)'s grandfather instead. I just remember during the eyeball part, i thought "what the, so fast reach here already?". I felt like I was watching the Discovery Channel during the first few minutes :chuckle:

     

    eh you know what i just realised. i forgot about a lot of minor details in the book haha.

     

     

    Problems with reading books to watching their movies, you will keep on saying how different it is from the book and sort of keeps you from enjoying the movie so much.... Like Harry Potter, Confession of the Shopaholic(yes, I read that book) Hopefully Evan McGregor can pull my attention enough :)

     

     

    Ohhhh..... I can't wait for Terminator, Ice Age and Transformers XDDDDD

     

    haha yeah, the books are always better than the movies. though I have to admit, its very rare, where I've actually read the book first before watching the movie! :LOL: I was always the one didnt read the book, or only read the book after watching the movie. so yeah, with that being said i wasnt THAT disappointed la. i still enjoyed the movie :) so go watch it! :D
