Defector!!
-
I'm actually surprised by the posts saying that the crowd is mostly male, I've always found Muse crowds to be mostly female (more and more so), except in the UK where it's balanced. What countries are you thinking of? The US?

Posting here due to last minute arrangements: I'm looking for 2 standing tickets for tonight

The doors open at 03:00pm. Since you're on a hotel close to the airport, I think the best way is taking the Airport subway/underground to Alameda, and then change the line to Cais do Sodré. From there, you have a train station. You should take a train that stops in Algés. The festival site is 5 minutes on foot from the station
For subway/underground info: http://www.metrolisboa.pt/eng/?page_id=308
For train info: http://www.cp.pt/sites/passageiros/en/train-times/Train-time-results
Ah, thanks for that! only seeing it now but I found my way

Does anyone know when the doors open?
Oh and also, if I'm staying at a hotel close to the airport, which bus/train should I take? Thanks!

I'm looking for 2 day tickets; please PM me if you have any spares!
-
If anyone is selling two tickets, please PM me, I'm interested
-
Are you sure?
Well that's what I assumed, some people are commenting the post on the main site saying that they've won. Unless it's from another competition
-
So apparently the winners of the amazon competition have been contacted, but if I understood correctly they were only giving away about 40 tickets. Does anyone know how we can win one of the 800+ others..?!
Also, if someone here won two and only needs one, I would be very interested by a spare.

I just got back from the gig: the band was good, but the crowd was the worst I've ever seen. So not into it. And Resistance is the song that got them the most excited.. so I guess the band knows what the crowds in Switzerland are like (that is, really boring).

Just in case someone doesn't noticed... the opening of The Globalist ist not just in Ennio Morricone style, it's an actual cover of the Ennio Morricone song "L'Arena".
Btw. I Love the Song.
No it's not. It's an obvious rip off, but not a cover
-
The whistling and the melody are obvious references to L'arena, but it doesn't actually sound the same.. Although honestly, seeing how similar both melodies are, I would actually prefer the original to be openly used.
-
For the record, Matt had already whistled "l'arena" at some gigs (during the TR tour I think), can't remember before which song.
-
Dunno if anyone mentionned it already but Tom just told me that tomorrow they're playing a song they never played before. Probably Dead Inside, could be a rare one though

I'll be landing in Manchester around noon, and I expect to be at the venue at 2, at the latest. Anyone else going around that time? I'll be alone, and queueing with other people would definitely be better
-
the journey planner here's your best bet. http://www.tfgm.com/Pages/default.aspx43 is best bet it comes from airport and stops right outside academy. And runs every ten minutes.
Cheers So now that I've found tickets, I'll be queueing alone from around 1-1:30, is anyone else thinking of going around that time?
-
And also I don't think anyone asked about the fastest way from the airport? Google tells me bus 43
-
Is anyone else travelling from Aberdeen?
-
Still looking for a ticket, if anyone suddenly has a spare..
-
Hey guys
I'm going to the Manchester gig Sunday- just trying to figure out when i need to start queuing
Not overly bothered about barrier, it will be hell in a small venue, but a few rows from will be good.
I'm thinking 2- reckon that is plausible?
Got there at 5:30, second row.

What just happened?! I was on ticketmaster too

So I read somewhere that there is no seating area for this gig, could anyone confirm this?
