  1. Really? I feel like it totally breaks the intensity of that part. A shame Matt has been struggling. I don't know much about vocals but a rapid decline like that seems scary. I hope it's temporary. I'm sure no ones as pissed with it as Matt, as it must suck immensely.

I was kinda leaning more towards doubled up with chris than just on its own (like the second "i need to love" in madness in falsetto with chris) but i'd much rarther that than trying to hit the chest note live & falling a tad flat.

  2. You'll learn with time ;)

Don't worry, it's not that pointless. There just isn't a better way to give tickets to hardcores-only, imo.

The best way is a Battle Royal :ninja:

But being serious ... As awesome as the teignmouth gigs were, i remember tickets being on sale up till the gig, they didn't sell out. Demand isn't that huge down there, less populated. So if they did enough gigs i expect most of hard-core fan base would get a look in if they did it.

  3. the guitar isn't always in drop c, he uses it for supermassive black hole... also invincible is in standard on guitar and he uses the other kaoss guitar for that

Look what you made me do! You made my half arsed unresearched comment look like poo, so i've had to edit it, forshame on you! :p

But yea your, correct....but it is drop- C on Map :)

  4. at what point has motp ever been in drop c?

that riff is in E, listen to the RATM one, sounds exactly the same, and maggie's farm is in E, motp is in E, i have no idea where this drop c thing came from?

....In motp itself matt uses the low C to play a single line progression (after the 4 bar powerchord into) where the bass plays the higher melody until they go in to the full chords.... + of course the Rage riff at the end, because they could... :p

  5. Heard Muse on apprentice ad, and in a really tacky sports shop, it surprised me because it was butterflies and hurricanes, and they played the full version instead of the crappy radio edit... then went on to play the whole of the album.

Thats co's it WAS the cd :)
