twistygirl7206 Posted December 19, 2009 Share Posted December 19, 2009 I was a full-time volunteer for Obama's campaign, and at the victory party after the polls closed, I ran out to my car, grabbed my BHAR CD, made everybody shut up, and played it... I thought it perfectly captured the feeling of the night. I had 80 year old women crying listening to those lyrics. I'm also a psychiatric social worker and I've used that song a lot when I do music therapy groups, to help people understand that they can overcome the devastation that their diseases have caused them. It's become the favorite song of every group I've ever run. I must have turned about 100 psychiatric inpatients into hardcore Muse fans thanks to that song!
