Char-Char-Charlie Posted April 15, 2009 Share Posted April 15, 2009 in september i might be going to an anime convention in brisbane. i think it will be awesome because it will be the first i have ever been to. i am scared of cosplay though so i dont know how i will go. is there any animes u recomend checking out? In that regard I think you should cosplay as a character whose style is closest to your own, that way the cosplay would look more natural, ya know? I think it would be easiest to fit yourself into a character who is similar to you, than it would be to cosplay as a character in which you differ greatly from in any way. Cosplay is more of an art than anything else, it's almost like a roleplay where you physically represent the character, not just use words... so I'd search perhaps an anime you are more familiar with and then choose a character from that one... however if this isn't about cosplay at all and you just want to broaden your anime horizons then perhaps you could check out hell girl (jigoku shoujo), fairy tail (never saw the anime but the mangas were great), Fushigi yugi, Ranma 1/2, Full metal alchemist, Angel sanctuary, trinity blood, blood plus, plus anima, card captor sakura, DNAngel...
