hall1k Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 Yeah, so I'm not sure what Muse's sound guys were thinking, but whenever Hysteria is played live the bassline is wayy too quiet. Like, when Matt starts playing the bassline over top of Chris, it's supposed to help fill it out, not overwhelm it. The only concert I've seen (not personally lol) where it was well balanced was Glastonbury 04. If they could crank the bass up enough back then with what was probably less powerful equipment than they have now, I'm sure they could do it now. Anyone else think it sounds off? Like, the bass should be at least 3-4 times louder. As it is, when I saw them in Toronto and then Detroit, it was almost difficult to make out the bassline over top of the guitar and drums, and it's supposed to be carrying the song...
