  1. You keep bringing the topic back just to whine about how unfairly you’ve been treated, and when someone shows you the reciepts you try to change the subject to how pedantic people are for showing you you’re wrong. And then you “let” them win.

I’m sure that master suppression technique works amazingly for you usually but right now it’s painfully obvious that you’d rather ridicule Jobby for proving you wrong rather than actually admitting fault.

Sometimes it's just not worth the bother. I made my point, then jobby proves it by bringing up me calling someone a moron, even though i used the term "jokes" ironically. However when i am rudely called a pleb and i have to take it as a joke. If you guys can't understand what online bullying is, then i will let you have the win.

  2. I have listened to the album pretty well none stop since its release. Even songs like Break it to me i have made a point of ,as i have made it know that i dislike the song. Whilst there are some good songs, i have grown weary of it already. It's back to shuffle mode, to fight with all my music, Most Muse new releases i have played almost exclusively for the first few months.

Maybe pre-releasing the singles well in advance of the album may have spoiled it for me.

  3. So that’s the line we’re using now?

Also here’s pretty much all replies to you I could find across a couple of threads

There are two posts in there even remotely close to ‘insults’ and they’re blatantly soft, ironic jokes. Ignoring the fact you’ve also called people lazy, for using acronyms, and morons - if you feel this is bullying and need an apology for it, your skin is inhumanly thin fam. Can we get a grip and move on now pls

Oh dear, you have to be unbelievably pedantic to go back and find those quotes just to prove a point. I will let you win the argument just on effort. Thin fam? Really?

  4.

You got called pleb as a pretty clear joke (Refer the FAQ, the comment was rude, not a joke.if i may use the same joke back at that poster, they are a cunt) (although it might not be easy to tell if you're new). And I "bullied" you because I thought you were being condescending towards others, then I admitted fault when you told me I was wrong. I missed the apology for your admitted bullying.

The only thing you're being challenged on are your musical comparisons, and honestly if you can't handle people disagreeing with you then you're probably not cut out for a forum in general.Honest and reasoned debates are one thing, like i said there is a subset that bully and jump any for having different opinions.

If you apologise, i'm happy to move on.

  5. phsssshh there hasn’t been bullying in these parts for years, watchu talkin bout

Lol go back and read the thread on the new album, words like troll are thrown around at those that don't agree with a subset of posters. Then the same posters jump on and start on the so called troll with in-jokes etc..:

Also imo you can’t really get ultra picky about defending your own opinions whilst saying things like this about people who do like the album

Geez that is called an observation not an opinion.

  6. I mean some of it is fair of my time here overall so I’m not gonna make a big deal out of it. I can assure him that I’m out enjoying life despite posting here though.

If you are then that's good. My original point stands that you and others do seem to bully those that have an opinion that differs from your own. Yesterday i even got called a pleb.

  7. Welp, Melon's review dropped. Turns out he found The Void, Algorithm, and Blockades tired and boring, which left him only Pressure through SH to actually enjoy (not surprised he didn't care for TC, DD, and GUAF). I was hoping he'd like the 80s / synth wave elements on TV, Algorithm, and Blockades, but sadly he did not. But at least he liked Propaganda and BITM, I had a good feeling he'd like those two!

Anyway, I still love this album. Take all reviews with a grain of salt, especially with Muse, because the odds are usually against the critics liking them in the first place.

It is only someones opinion. He is a critic on Youtube (yes, i get he has a lot of influence) but he is no more an expert than you and i.

  8. Well considering Timbaland actually contributed on another album track it sounded more like you got Propaganda and BITM confused, especially with your descriptions of BITM.

You know what, you are one of a number of posters that sit on this board ready to jump on and bully anyone with a contrary view to your own. Maybe you spend too much time on here and should as a normal 27 year old get out and enjoy life.

  9. I agree with this one

It's a joke. Basically changing your quote to what they think and then say "I agree".

But you really don't see the connection to JT and boy bands?

Most forums i have been on actually issue bans on this type of behavior. Well if it's acceptable.....I agree

  10. Blockades is overrated. It seems Blockades becomes favourite in ST for its 'rock' sounds. I rate this song as same as Exo-Politics level.

BITM is the most interesting track on the album and you can't listen to it. Then complaining about boring songs. I just don't understand your point.

You say it's interesting, that's your opinion. My opinion is different. I listened to it again and i still don't like it. Maybe i need to listen to it like 30 times and then it might grow on me.

  11. Genre doesn't mean shit respective to whether something feels like it had quality writing or was slapped together.

And lol at song structure being relative to genre like structure of a song makes it pop? 99% of rock songs or songs in general for that matter are verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge chorus-chorus-chorus.

Point is Muse used to sound like a pretty original rock band back in the day. Now they do a lot of pop cliches to seem contemporary and fit in on the radio.

Most bands leave their hard rock origins behind as there careers blossom. I guess record execs tell them, you wanna make money, then you have to become more mainstream.

  12. Darkshines has a brilliant solo. I can imagine being on a tropical beach with that playing in the background.

Lmao, not including Darkshines - how edgy
