What gets me is the fact that in the Czech Republic it's only 57 euros for standing (or about £41) It'd almost be worth flying out there and staying for a couple of days...

No joke, JFK is one of the highest points of the album. Also by far the strongest lyrically lol.
Yup, lyrically, this album is by far this worst. I still think overall the album's better than the previous 2...

Done, thanks for sorting this. Personally, I'm finding myself more and more disappointed with this album, musically it's good, but I think the lyrics are probably the most suspect Matt has ever come up with. The hype surrounding it when Matt said it was their best album, not sure a single track would have made it onto OOS...I'd go as far to say that this is my least favourite album, having said that, T2L and TR took a while to grow on me...

That must be it. Although I think I remember reading once during the Absolution Tour there were two loads of balloons - white during either Plug in Baby or Bliss, and then black ones during Stockholm.
Maybe I'm making that up, ehdunno.

Just got home - lovely to meet Ilovemymonkey - and discovered he'd beaten me to the tickets earlier! Met some lovely Musers too, including the guy next to me in the circle who was visiting from Canada.
Need to listen to Dead Inside properly, think it's a grower - glad we got some oldies and there was a lot of Absolution love tonight.
Loitered around for the guys to come out too - but totally managed to not get a single photo with any of them. :roll eyes: I'm just not that pushy sadly. Did get a high five from Glen for the twitter love. Chris was flipping adorable and Dom put in some quality time with the crowd (he smells nice). Got totally squished and pushed to the back of the crowd when Matt appeared. Oh well.
Glad I went - realised I'm not a pushy fangirl anymore. I'm getting old.
Right - what's next?!

My partner and I are going down to brighton on the Sunday, hitting the pub for the Liverpool game, staying over until Tuesday and obviously going to the gig.
For me think its fifth time seeing them, for her it's the first.
I am an old fart (45 on the actual day of the gig) but if anyone fancies a muse meet up for this gig let us know.
I can't wait. Grew up in brighton but haven't been back for 27 years. Cavendish place my grandparents used to live....
Gonna be awesome, gonna be in the Mash Tun before the gig if you fancy dropping in

Well, I'd say only if the person who bought the tickets is with you, they just need to produce the card used to pay and some id at the door (and be going to the gig)...So you need someone who bought 2 tickets who only has a need for one...good luck

Yup... Took us nearly 3 hours to get back to Victoria from Stratford...Strangely, when I saw the foos there last year it was a lot more streamlined and didn't take anywhere near as long, someone dropped the ball...Eventually rolled into Brighton at 3am...nearly died from being in the mosh pit for an hour and a half... But a crackin night all the same...
