I agree---I love the EJ and Matt pic, too! I just can't figure out which one of them is wearing that ring though! LOL!
guessing EJ, though, for many reasons. I'm pretty sure it's Matt, but he doesn't wear it in the other pictures so maybe he borrowed it from EJ for the photo?
I'm doing a practice sketch of his eye as we speak; I've never noticed how hooded his eyelid is, it's making it really hardYou're right about him being a nightmare to draw! The worst things are probably his lips, his eyes, and his cheekbones. It'll be a good challenge though

The woman was Jay Aston, the one from Bucks Fizz who isn't Cheryl Baker, and yeah it was pretty awful
Just had to come back on here tonight and give everyone fair warning.....if you don't want your ears to bleed, that is...!! LOL! Watched The Voice tonight, and Josiah (on Usher's team) BUTCHERED Starlight....EEEEESH!!!! It was just awful.....so wanted to try and spare you guys the horror. Guess Usher had to get permission from Muse to use it...sure wish they had said no, after seeing that!!Rarely have I liked a cover of a muse song, it's probably because matt's voice is so recognisable and distinctive, it's weird to hear a muse song without that voice... Usually you either have to have a similar singing style for the cover to work or change the whole song (rythmically, tone-wise, even genre-wise). Sometimes it also goes the other way around too, rarely have I liked a muse cover of another band
As for the thread topic for some reason it's like muse doesn't even exist over here! No media comments on the new album, no radio plays (save for one particular station that only seems to have the resistance, feeling good, can't take my eyes off of you and ,recently, madness in its playlist and plays them on a loop)... it's like noone has cared about muse since they were in the twilight soundtrack

I'm so excited for it! We get pretty much complete freedom with what we want to do, and get ages to do it
There's a lot of pressure for it be good though, considering we get nearly 6 months to do it, which is freaky but I guess my perfectionist habits will come in handy EDIT: Quote fail

Also, I want that ring.It is almost unreal that Matt is the most "normally" dressed person in the photo though, he's usually the one with the wacky shirts, the weird glasses and the sparkling

I agree...the new picture gallery has some beautiful pics in it. And i do especially like the one you posted. That one, and the black and white one of Matt and Chris together is really good.

and the yellow-ish one of Matt on the piano too! So, I've got an art project for which I'm doing a pencil and possibly charcoal portrait of Matt, so; does anyone have a picture of just his face, high quality, not smiling?I need to make him look kinda vunerable and non-rockstar-ish, because it's going to be accompanied by a painting of him looking all bad-ass on stage.
