Also, related to Matt not wanting to play rarities in big venues. I remember an article was posted online buy a guy who allegedly met Matt outside his hotel after Rome and he was quite tipsy. Then he told the guy he felt bad about having to drop Bliss and Dead Star from the setlist for the DVD.
I'd imagine they have all the money they need. I don't see why they don't just play smaller venues all the time and rock out every night.
Even at bigger gigs, have you ever seen Matt looking bored while playing a rarity?

I think he is still unsure about this, probably he still likes bigger venues too but after a while he gets tired with them. I was there that night in Rome, and he was so involved in it

We don't need to choose but it'd be an extra sign of the band really caring and a nice element of customisation/interaction. The logistics of the poll(s) shouldn't be too hard to work out so I don't see why not. Plus, it could be a way of introducing some other (doable) oldies into the mix that the band might not have thought about otherwise or known the demand for.
This isn't even anywhere near being a realised idea in the back of Matt's mind yet and my brain is already torturing itself with having one vote and choosing between Invin, COD, Hoodoo and Easily
(assuming any of those would even be included)Of course it would be exciting! It won't happen, but in the case I'd vote without checking the results, just to preserve the surprise effect.
I agree, it isn't such a difficult thing to realize: just exclude the staples and songs that Muse themselves don't want to play (e.g. Showbiz or Glorious for Matt) from the poll. Easy.

So, joining the conversation too! I'll be unpopular: I don't think we really need polls to request songs for gigs. I mean, Muse know we like rarities/oldies/etc in general, and I think they can fairly choose some of those on their own. Does it really matter if they play The Groove and not Hyper Music, or Agitated and not Yes Please? I don't think so.
The point is that they'd do better playing some rarities for each gig (but literally each gig) to please the hardcore fans. We don't need to choose which ones, I think.

Of course I loved your old stuff but I like recent experimental songs so much and I'd like you to write more crazy songs like them.

Dei testi non mi importa fortunatamente!Tra Psycho e Dead Inside per ora non ho preferenze, le sensazioni sono buone ma qualcosa che non va sento che c'è... Mi sono fatto delle idee a tal proposito (Psycho è bella ma manca di climax, Dead Inside anche mi piace ma somiglia troppo a Madness e non per disprezzo verso quest'ultima, anzi, ma così non me la godo ancora); mi verrebbe da dire che hanno preso a fare il produttore se una canzone è arrangiata male e l'altra copiando il lavoro degli stessi Muse ahahah però vabbe aspettiamo l'album. Le sensazioni sono buone ma Drones dovrà prendermi più di così per arrivare al livello degli altri 6

Io ho una certa paura di quest'album ma sono anche emozionato... E non penso che dopo Psycho cambierà molto perché non c'è mai da fidarsi di un'anteprima dei Muse
Certo ci sarà il famoso ritorno alle origini se no 'sto giro deludono parecchi fan ma c'è modo e modo di farlo... Staremo a vedere, tra le anteprime ho apprezzato molto il riff di Psycho e la parte con l'orchestra, la copertina è bella (fa un po' Absolution, l'avrei preferita con colori più accesi ma pazienza), invece i titoli non mi ispirano un granché.
