  1. Eavis said that next year's headliners will be acts who have never played glasto before. (He maybe meant bands who have never headlined but either way it means no Muse.)

I heard that Elbow, Fleetwood Mac and Depeche Mode are pretty much confirmed

  2. I think Absolution could be made into a better musical than Resistance.

Create an original story about a man remembering his life on his deathbed with each song reflecting a certain memory.

I think it would work better than copying 1984.

But tbh I don't really see Muse songs made into a musical, it would look strange.

  3. January 2014 - Eastern Europe (Greece,Turkey,Russia) and Scandinavia (Sweden,Denmark) (not confirmed)

    February 2014 - 20th Anniversary Tour

    nah

the rumoured gigs in Greece, Turkey, Russia, Sweden and Denmark are in fact the 20th anniversary tour

btw I'm turning 20 in February too so I really must get to one of their club gigs

probs I'll get some presents from Muse :facemelt::chuckle:

  4. What's He Building In There?

    Dead Star

    Micro Cuts

    Futurism

    Fury

    Liquid State

    Hyper Music

    Stockholm Syndrome

    Agitated

    Yes Please

    Supremacy

    Uprising

    Panic Station

    Supermassive

    Map of the Problematique

    Starlight

    Time Is Running Out

    New Born

    Knights of Cydonia

    Bliss

    Showbiz

Fabri's set is the closest to my expectations

although I think there'll be a few more rarities and less hits.

Uno, Muscle Museum (don't agree with you Fab, that it won't be played, it surely will), a couple piano songs

  5. 1. Con-science (With Morgan looping Matt playing the piano, guitar and singing and adding weird effects with a Kaoss pad or something)

Matt needs to grow a few extra hands?

    10. The Gallery (Morgan and Matt both on keyboards/synthesizers with looping or if that's too difficult backing tracks could be used to help)

Matt playing piano, Chris playing guitar with an ebow, Morgan plays bass if it's needed at all (Matt can play bass notes on the piano I think)

there's nothing difficult about playing Gallery live imo, and I hope to hear it as a jam one day.

EDIT: oh soz, forgot about that synth arp. and bass is rather audible as well, dumb me

backing track is surely needed. but I keep my point that theremin can be replaced by guitar played by Chris with an ebow.

  6. Dunno. Bliss has really annoyed me this tour. Well, since R/L really. The falsetto has sounded pretty weak, the intro is lame, and it just generally seems like they're not enjoying it all that much. The first night at SDF this year is the only one (that I've seen) that has even been near Wembley 2 in terms of the performance.

I've seen it when it was relatively new for the tour (3rd time I think) and from what I've seen I can't say they were bored playing it,

Maybe I was too excited by the fact that I got to hear Bliss live to notice anything bad, but I enjoyed the performance.

For an unknown reason I can't remember the falsetto though. I even thought he didn't sing it, but the vids prove me wrong :chuckle:

  7. B&H because of the venue size, CE because this tour it probably won't be played at all. Fury is possible because read the post right above yours (meaning it was rehearsed, therefore they might decide to play it there just because Japan)

imo Fury has equal chances with CE of appearing and not appearing.

I'm pretty sure that CE was rehearsed as well and I remember Matt saying on twitter that it might pop up every once in a while during the stadiums.

B&H is actually not suitable for Zepp, yes.

  8. Oh yeah, Fury is a possibility. CE and B&H won't happen. Maybe Bliss or Map.

why Fury is a possibility, but CE and B&H aren't? what's the logic behind this, Fab?

    my expectations for Japan

  9. They may play a couple of rarities they've already rehearsed for their 20th anniversary stuff, but I'm not expecting this to be a rarities-only affair.

However I do think that the 20th anniversary no matter how and where it is organised will have a shitload of rarities. Otherwise it's pointless.

I think Zepp is more likely to have some rarer ones already played on this tour. Like B&H, Dead Star, Ruled By Secrecy.

  10. Something for the next leg of the arena tour. Might be slightly unrealistic at some parts.

    What do you guys think?

FG for three nights is painful

first one is pretty realistic minus Blackout and Dead Star and couple more songs to make it no more than 18-19

don't forget where they're playing that next leg :p

and I don't rule out the possibility of GL staying for the rest of the tour

inb4 for the rest of their career :'(

  11. RBS isn't a build up song though. It's quiet for 3 minutes then gets loud. Exo 1 on the other hand is a build up song.

it's really quiet for the first verse, then drums are added during the second and then comes the 'boom'

imo it would sound great and flows well into Fury

maybe I am too confident in the quality of this set :erm:
