As a rebellious teenager I left what I considered to be the 'awful' Roman Catholic church. I had many questions and the clerics I met from that church weren't prepared or knowledgeable enough to answer them.
During this time I read many books on Metaphysics and Spirituality - teaching and beliefs which have really enriched my life for the better and which as non-Christian texts prepared for my return to the mainstream Christian religion.
This year I returned to the Christian church (after being away for 30 years) and I'm now a practicing Anglican. My views on the RC church and The Pope(s) hasn't changed and I feel blessed that the Anglican church is in existence as an alternative to lapsed Roman Catholics like myself. I've dabbled in Evangelical/Alpha etc. but it's not for me at all.
As for God, remember God is a verb:
I am God
You are God
He/She is God
Etc, etc.
Matt is God in a very beautiful and gifted way.
Long live Muse and their Music.
