Forgive me, but I kind of like it.He looks shockingly well groomed, lol! -
Sure. Why not.

I'm fine with the political comments. Too bad there's never any topical replies.
I agree, but I'm also impressed.

Surprise surprise, it didn't mean shit. Stop the presses.
You see I have high hopes for humanity. So, naturally, something is coming...just not as fast as we want it.

Ugh getting excited about Muse-related stuff again. When will I learn?
Hey, why not? I absolutely loved all the twitter activity last week - witty remarks, manly muse, and possibilities of things to look forward to. Seems a hell of a lot easier not to make demands. I'd rather pleasantly wait and see what happens. I also think it was cool of Matt to interact with fans like that, but Kirk had him beat with wit.

Am I the only one who watched it and laughed without going into speculation?
*sigh* I don't think I'm very good at this whole muser-ness-ship-dom.
-
Yup, sounds like everybody needs a vacation, and now is the perfect time for it, considering Twitter is dead...very dead...which means I can post embarassing travel photos for the next week without fear.

Dom is now a confirmed fairy. (from Andy Burrows' instagram)
Admit it. You'd be giggling if Dom threw petals at you too.

Is it just me or is the forum spiffier?

SrslyBoard seems kind of dead right now for that kind of request. Upgrade on the main page looks much more open and visually appealing, but yeah, could the forum get upgrades, too? Better servers, new visuals, something more intuitive and interactive? Probably not.

So...anything new on Twitter?

I love that interview. Found this one too for 91X -

It's flipping annoying when the translators talk over them. I know someone did a translation for this interview already. When I find it, I'll post it.

Yes it just hasn't been the same without him. Bring back the beetle! ...Didn't it have a name?
Ack...I can't remember, but Steve the Squirrel is just as awesome.

I miss Tom's trolling antics on Twitter, last thing I saw from him was something about cutting his hand trying to cook for his wife.
He seems a little more active lately, but remember that one day he went wild over the beetle? I was at work, unable to check anything, and my phone kept going off, driving me crazy, wondering what the heck was happening. Hard to find anyone on twitter who's that brilliant and funny. Wish tweeters wouldn't give him such a hard time.
-
Apparently, there's a 100 copies of that poster, and they keep giving it away every time they need followers. Meh.
Less than 3 weeks to the next gig!! Do you think Matt will ever tweet again? I miss the days when Tom would tweet non-stop and fill up my text file with muser silliness.

Just in case you haven't seen this:

What do you think?

They're not talking about music though.
I know. It's about presentation, but just thought NIN should also get credit for using the same philosophy in the music.
-
Love Dom's comment. Always thought NIN should get more credit for pushing the limits musically.

What I can't figure out is how Preservation Hall Jazz Band got in that lineup. Don't get me wrong. I love "Yellow Moon", but...
I'm more old-fashioned when it comes to festivals, but Coachella's lineup has a lot of lesser knowns I'd love to see. Despite the fact they say their sold out, the website still lists 4 person tent & passes as available. Of course, you'd have to dish out about $2900 to $4700.

Up against Paul McCartney (With Nirvana), Black Sabbath and the Rolling Stones.
Rock music's really moving forward, isn't it...
Kind of noticed that too. Seems like fear-driven nominations. When are they going to stop nominating everything Neil Young puts out.

I concur.

The 4k demos I've seen in the stores really do look different... Is that just a trick of the footage they use?
I do get the size issue; isn't that why Apple is allowed to call things "retina displays" even though the actual resolutions vary quite a bit?
All a function of pixels, size, and expected viewing distance, from what I've read...
Someone picked the one Landmark cinema in my state that hadn't upgraded to 4k for the Muse screening... so as far as what that looked like, I'll never know.
We could always get the DVD, take it to the IMAX at the zoo, and pretend it's 4k.

How about "Soliton of Dark Matter"?
