Well, British TV use's their songs occasionally, especially BBC. I've heard about 3 songs on there before .

I think that the german TV is really into Muse Their music is played almost in every afternoon tv show One time Micro Cuts was played while there was a scene of a fight between two teenagers And Uprisng and Undisclosed Desires is used very very often!

What about the scottish Television?
