  1. I am staying with family up in CT, so I was contemplating on parking in CT and taking a train into the city. I'll do some research beforehand, but it sounds like paying 40 bucks for the entire day might be the easiest, but most expensive option?

Check out this website if you want to leave the car in a garage all day: http://nyc.bestparking.com/ There are some options to leave the car for up to 12 hours for $30 around the corner from the venue

  2. I finally got through (!!!!) but also have not received the email yet, which worries me.

I purchased my ticket over half hour ago and haven't received an email confirmation yet. However I got confirmation from the credit card that the money was taken so it definitely went through :D

IF YOU CAN SEE MUSE TWICE, DO IT. ONCE FROM THE BARRIER, ONCE FROM THE SEATS. THERE IS NO APPRECIATING THE MASSIVENESS THAT IS THE STAGE FROM THE BARRIER.

So if you have seats, don't despair!

I agree. I have seen Muse from barrier center, from left and right close to stage and from the back. My favorite gigs were from barrier (obviously) and from the back. Strangely enough, being closer to the stage in seats didn't add to the experience, actually I enjoyed it more from the back, the music was clearer and I could see the whole stage at once :)

  4. In part of my dream last night I wanted to listen to PiB so for some reason I had to plug my earphones into the bathroom sink so that I could listen to it. :wtf: ..so I was listening to it when I look out the window and Matts playing the riff whilst bouncing on a trampoline  so I was like wooww:eek: but then he jumped too high and lost his balance and smacked his face off the window so I was like oh shit! and ran down the stairs to see if he was alright. But then I fell down the stairs because I tripped over my dads cat so I woke up in the middle of the night. :chuckle:

  5. The concert experience for any band is just something awesome. There are many factors which can transform the crowd into a sea of raw energy. Certainly if you are surrounded by a bunch of bulky or large people it could be rough, but don't let that get you down you need to wonder why it gets so rowdy in the first place.

Mostly there is this huge wave of adrenaline that rushes over everyone so whether your strong or not if the adrenaline takes you over and you don't have issues with personal space you may find that even the smallest fans become more energized and peppy, suddenly the smallest fans start holding their own. I mean it helps if you are in shape, but I would say loosing yourself to the music and adrenaline is also a majour factor for why it gets rough and how you can deal with it. I mean science has shown athletes who are an an adrenaline high can play sports on broken legs and barely feel it same with dogs, and same with hardcore Muse fans lol... not that anything like that will happen though.

For a moment there you really scared me :stunned:

  6. You will be possibly bankrupt when you realise you must see Muse as many times as possible and facepalm when you just realised you've bought a ticket to see them in another country. You get used to it

Oops, I think I already have it, I am doing 4 concerts in one week in March and I am going to both Wembley gigs in September :$

  7. First of all, spend time in the thread for that gig and get to know the other Musers who will be camped out in the queue all day too. That way you won't be alone, and whoever gets there first can save spaces for the others (see notes in this thread about saving spots, however!).

If you have folks with you -- your new Muser friends -- then you can leave the queue to go to the loo and get food. Something soft to sit on is a good idea, but you might not have time to put it into your car before doors so make sure it's something you won't mind throwing away. A deck of cards is a great thing to bring, passes the time and fits in a pocket. Cash for junk food; you won't be getting merch until after the gig since you will be ensconced at the barrier. Get there early and have a great time! Prepare for the PMS (Post Muse Syndrome) and a lifetime of addiction!

PMS??? OMG, what are the symptoms?
