    yes, I too dream to see Muse perform in Manila. But I don't think they should be mainstream for that to happen . . .I don't know. . .I just don't want everyone singing muse like how they sing those mainstream songs. . .just an opinion :D

    Yea, you're not alone in that :chuckle: A random person on the street singing their songs? Eugh :vomit: Sorry if other pinoy fans don't feel that way. It would seem too baduy (not the songs, just the feeling) if they became mainstream here in PI.

    An office mate found this photo on the current issue of Playboy Magazine Philippines and showed it to me. I freaked out! To my excitement, I called the Aranet Coliseum to verify if this is a true banner and not fake. The perky customer service representative told me that it is a real one and Muse, Phoenix, Kings of Leon, Bloc Party are some of the bands that are pencil booked for next year! O-O-O-O-O-O-OH EM GEE! Although these bands aren't yet confirmed, at least I know who to look forward to. Let's just hope this is not another The Killers hullabaloo.

    Kagabi napanaginipan ko pumunta ulit kami sa Muse concert sa Singapore nung mga kasama ko nung Muse concert. Ang labo nung itsura nung stage, kasi ang laki nung audience area tapos yung stage mismo medyo tago sa isang sulok.

     

    Nagsesetup pa sila nun. Sumingit ako papunta sa harap, tapos sumabit ako sa gilid ng stage, tapos tinawag ko si Dom, sinigaw ko yung pangalan nya. Lumabas siya. Nag-hi ako sa kanya. Tapos tinanong ko sa kanya kung natatandaan pa nya kami at yung barrel man na binigay namin. Sabi nya hindi na.

     

    Huhuhuhu sana naalala pa rin niya! :p

    Sana tuparin naman nila yung sinabi sa Loveline. Have you seen the new interview with Stryker? Ang kulit :LOL:

    Don't watch it, it's not worth your 150+/- pesos, trust me. :LOL: I watched it last Wednesday with my parents so I didn't have to pay for it with my allowance. Hahaha! It was so dragging and terrible. The only interesting thing about it was the gay tension between Edward and Jacob while Jacob was topless in a tent with Edward and Bella. :LOL:

     

    Neutron Star Collision was played during a graduation party at the Cullens' house. Bella was talking to some friends, then NSC came on and one friend exclaimed something like, "Oooh, let's dance! I love this song!" and then they went off to the floor to dance, then Bella walked away and bumped into Jacob (or was it Edward?), then they talked while the music played in the background.

     

    Thanks for the heads up. My friends already watched it this afternoon. I opted to go home, reverse the alienation I did to my dad during the uber long review period and DL the movie. Hahahahah. I don't know what I would do without torrents :LOL:

    Ay wow! GL! Balak ko rin magpunta ng London para makapagtrain sa music eh. Pero balak palang... Poor lang me :LOL:

     

    Yung mga kaklase ko manonood, sabi ko sa isa sa kanila na itext ako kapag naplay yung NSC since napakingan na nya yun. So yun lol, well... that sounds like a good plan... ahaha XD I guess sa credits ipeplay yun, guess lang :p

    Pwede ka mag-aral dun basta makahanap ka ng sponsor tsaka invitation pwede na. Kaso magastos pala application dun. Dapat kasi dun ako magaaral ng nursing, tapos yung binayad ko mga ₤15 para lang mag-apply. To no avail naman, I got accepted to the university but I have to go there a year before I formally start my studies-SUCKS RIGHT?

    Hey guys! I am on Muse and internet diet. I had my internet disconnected so there won't be any distractions while I'm studying. Board exam ko na on saturday. Wish me luck guys, by next year I wanna go to London to take up my master's :) plus I'll be your Muse merch shopping advocate :LOL:

    Aly, nood tayo Eclipse next week so we can find out what scene they'd play NSC tapos labas na tayo. Hahahahah

    Oi, NSC is out na! Aus lang :/

    Napa smile ako sa simula pero parang wala lang sa gitna eh. Parang weak tong song na to :stunned:

     

    Maganda nga sya pero... ewan ko lang. Alam ko di parin yan ang full pero narinig ko na yung 1st verse 2nd verse at chorus eh. Di naman sya panget, aus lang. Di lang gano 'musey' yung style nya. Malaki na ang pinagbago ng Muse :stunned:

     

    The songs sounds okay. For me, the right word to describe it is mainstream!:p

    It has a KoC-ish element that I liked very much and Matt's voice is still great :happy:

     

     

    I really hate Stephenie Meyer for this. No Muse-y songs for twatlighters!

    I think so. Japan has a humongous Muse fanbase. Try mo siguro sa record stores, maybe they sell shirts there? Sa HMV sa Singapore nagbebenta sila nun kaso wala nang sizes nung naghanap ako uso kasi hahaha

     

    KoC is phenomenaaaaaaaal live. Nakakalungkot nga lang kasi pagkatapos nun wala na. Pero nung tinugtog nila nagwala na talaga ako sa pwesto ko. I made that promise to myself ever since I saw a live performance of KoC on YouTube years ago.

     

    I fell in love with Undisclosed Desires upon hearing the 30-second preview. It's still my most played track from The Resistance. :p I'd really love to see Muse go in that musical direction. To hell with all the haters!

     

    I'm excited about the Stade de France gig. IBTY will be part of the setlist! Matt should sing Mon coeur s'ouvre à ta voix, too, or I will join the French people in kicking his ass.

     

    Watching that kaoss pad get violated by Matt makes me forget about Dommmeh :pope::LOL:

    My cousin is coming home next month. She's offering to buy me this insanely expensive stethoscope but I declined and asked for Muse merch instead :D

     

    My dream with KoC involves the use of a light saber :LOL: I saw one in GH and I think it would be better than just throwing my fist in the air for the intro :LOL: :LOL: :LOL: Before this year ends, I hope that dream would come true :p

    UD has become one of my favorites off the new album. IMHO Muse is at their best when they do straight-up rock, though.

     

    I've been checking for leaks since they aired the 30 sec preview. So far, I haven't found any.

     

    I second that ;) The rock-ier songs really have an impact :cool:

    A 30-second clip and it's already one of your favorite songs? :LOL: We don't like the Twilight connection, but there's also hate for it because it could *potentially* be one of their weakest songs and we know Muse can do better. Same reason why there's beef about their US tour. But again... we've only heard 30 seconds of NSC.

     

    Good choices. A shame they don't play MK and Dead Star more often.

     

    I meant, I didn't like it at first but it became my fave when I listened to the whole song :p Twilight. I really hate it. I shudder at the thought of it being compared to Anne Rice's books. Maybe Muse made the song that way to fit that stupid movie :dance:

     

    :yesey: I've also been watching Bliss from The Resistance tour, the falsetto isn't the same :( The performance from MTV live 2006 of Bliss was :awesome: I hope they keep adding old songs to their setlist. They choose different songs for each gig right? Only problem with that is missing out on the other great songs plus envying other fans who got to watch 'em :stunned:

    Satingin ko kc yung New Born sa BDO 2004 and best live version nun eh :p

    Ang pinaka fav kong live versions kc yung SMBH in Wembley Stadium, MM in Nulle Part Ailleurs, SS in Pinkpop, Agitated in Eurockeennes, Starlight in ...Later Jools Holland and Fury in royal albert hall. Dead Star! X)

     

    Yung mga bagong New Born kasi ang bagal bagal :p

     

    My favorite live version of SMBH is from their Osaka-jō Hall gig last January.

    What makes it an epic SMBH version:

    im gabriel... i was surprised that there are many fans of muse in the philippines but not enough to make muse tour here... muse is not famous here in the philippines...their music doesn't appeal to filipino masses...but still.. im hoping for their tour in the phil.

    marami din fans ng muse pero hindi nila alam na may ganitong thread pala dito tulad ng mga kaklase ko... pinsan ko...haha..wala lang. sino taga UST dito?

    I'm fully expecting the worst... but hoping for the best. Though... remember when people were saying the song "Resistance" would be shit after hearing the :30 sample of it? Then it turned out to be not such a bad song after all. I'm trying to hold judgment until I hear the whole thing. The :30 sample of NSC does not bode well, though.

     

    Ako naman, I didn't like the 30 second preview of USoE. Now it's one of my favorites. I guess we all hate NSC because of its connection to Twilight. I wish Stephenie Meyer would become obsessed with another band :LOL:

    A ako kaya ko nagstick in sa Muse dahil mix of rock and electro sila. Eh yung dalawang yun ang favorite kong music genre. Saka maypagka classical sila at yung style nila maypagka 'space'-cy parang lulumutang ka sa langit! lol :p At maganda ang mga subjects nila. Aliens, government conspiracies and a bit of love XD

    -:eek::'( + :LOL: gigil na gigil din ako pagnakakapatay ako nang ipis. :LOL: i discovered a crazy way to attract roaches during our biochem lab nuon. kailangan mu lang ng test tube tapos punuin mu yun nang coconut oil and store it anywhere. Pagkabukas punong-puno na yun nang ipis. XD Tapos nanggigigil pa ako maxado nuon kaya sinusunog ko sa sa bunsen burner! :LOL::LOL:

     

    :eek::eek::eek: Medyo nakakadiri yung way na yan. Next time pag nagpalinis ako ng house iuutos ko yung sa coconut oil thing mo :LOL::p
