Hi! I posted on the Ununited Eurasia thread about your profile pic dilemma:

"Your profile pic is different from your avatar. Go up to the site toolbar, click Quick Links, Edit Signature. At the next screen, on the left is a vertical menu. There, click Edit Avatar. That will bring you to a screen where you can download a picture and add a text signature as well. I feel useful for the first time on this site today!"
