  1. I thought it was great. When they played it with the extended keytar intro it was hauntingly beautiful

I miss the keytar intro too. And Helsinki Jam before it. :D

But yeah, as a song by itself it's very underwhelming live. Not even electronic enough to dance to. It just kind of...is. I'm crossing my fingers it gets dropped on the next tour.

On topic: For me, the most prominent example of a song I'll always defend is probably Starlight. And most of the Showbiz songs deserve much more love.

  3. Of course it's reasonable to not jump around anymore, but he could still play a stripped down set. He could easily play some guitar sitting and some piano too. His voice isn't affected at all.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Sure, with Matt sitting or just staying in one place it might not be that energetic as an experience, but at this point I'll be very glad if we get the rest of the dates at all, no matter how.

  5. I seem to be one of the very few people who prefers to be seated during a gig. I made some bad experiences in GA a few years ago (getting pushed around, almost having a panic attack etc.); also I'm rather short so I'm usually not able to see much of what's happening on stage, and I just can't take standing for several hours.

When I saw Muse in 2009 I decided to get a seating ticket and didn't regret it at all. I could arrive as late as I wanted, I got a great view of the stage (of course you're not as close as the people at the barrier, but your view is "wider"), I could sit down when I needed to, and most importantly I was still able to stand and jump around when I felt like it (which was most of the time :D). Of course I suppose I was rather lucky, as 2 or 3 seats next to me on both sides weren't taken, so I had some more room.

I hope I'll be just as lucky this fall. And hopefully no one behind me will tell me to "sit the f-ck down" :D

But just out of curiosity, if someone has some experiences: Is there still enough room to jump/dance with people in the seats right next to you?

  6. I feel that the closer "my" concert gets, the more I dream about Muse

Last night I dreamed that they gave a special gig in what in the dream was my school, and I sat quite far from the stage, but then a lot of people left and I went all the way to the front :awesome: I don't remember any particular songs, but just as they were starting another song my mom woke me up :(

    Still, nice dream :D

The best dream was a couple months ago however, when I dreamed I was actually AT the concert. I was in the stadium's bathroom with a couple of old friends (who I'm not friends with anymore and who've probably never heard of Muse ^^) and thought to myself, "Wow, the time until the gig passed really quickly!" when suddenly IN the dream I realized: "Oh crap. This is a dream." And then I woke up :D
