I still wish they did the full album in order as it is a concept album and that is how they are meant to work, warts and all.
Having said that Manchester 2nd night would appear to have had the best setlist on the UK part of this tour IMO so I am not really complaining .

Some of us are old and have got dodgy knees, so a comfy seat is something to be cherished
Sitting doesn't prevent shouting, singing and clapping, along with a bit of foot stomping and nodding!
Quite right (and a bad back )
-
The second night setlist was near perfect and the best I have seen since LCCC.
I was slightly disappointed with the first night but this more than made up for it and I saw 2 nights without them playing UD which is another plus.
I thought Revolt would get a better response as it has a great chorus but no one seemed to be really moving.

I'm honestly not that fussed about seeing TAB again, even though I haven't seen it in 6 years, but I'd take it over CE, Eurasia, Resistance or PIB any day of the week. I've missed Map a lot though so it'll almost be like seeing it for the first time again <3
I know Map is some peoples favourite Muse song but I have never really got it, particularly live as it's not a screamer, you can't really dance to it and doesn't really build to much of a finish.
-
I'm not going to tonight's gig, but you don't want MOTP or TAB?!
Correct, we had them both last night and the others I listed are all better than both of them.
-
Last night was amazing but hoping for some of CE, SS, PIB, USOE, AP, Revolt or Resistance tonight.
Hopefully will not get UD, FG, MOTP or TAB
-
Going both nights and hoping for these additions to the basic set list most of which they have played on this tour :-
CE, PIB, Hysteria, SS, Resistance, Sunburn, USOE, Bliss, Apocalypse Please, Revolt & maybe Supremacy
I do not want MOTP, Panic Station, Feeling Good, Undisclosed Desires, TAB
I doubt there will be any major surprises

It looks like there are quite big gaps between cities so I am sure extra dates are a possibility.
It is strange that they seem to be offering less UK arena tickets with each tour, 9 years ago there were 2 Manchester gigs, next tour none but Liverpool and a few other northern cities and now only one Manchester gig.

This album is truly epic and gets better with each listen.
I have played it several times including twice in the car really loud.
I still cannot decide on my favourite track but my favourite part is probably the end of Defector which is real genius.
I like all 9 proper tracks on the album which is definitely not the case on the previous 3 albums.

i do not get the negative coments on this song as I really like it.
With different lyrics it could have made a good final track.

I listened to Exo again today (skipped the rest of the album) and I can comfortably say it's wasted on TR. Bloody sublime. I, however, think it's way too early to start comparing Globalist with it, I'm going to need a few months before I can reach a verdict
I agree as I think Exo 2 & 3 are amongst the most beautiful pieces of music ever.
I only compared them with the end of the Globalist as they are both classically based, are at the end of an album and deal with similar end of the world themes.
Hopefully when they do the UK tour next year they will perform the album in its entirity as all concept albums should be performed. I think I will be close to tears at the end ( Citizen Erased and Invincible have a similar effect )
-
I really like this track in the same way I like Resistance.
I think it will be great live as it looked brilliant on the R1 big weekend broadcast.
-
Nimrod is one of the greatest pieces of music ever and it really fits in well here.
I love this song but it does not quite reach the emotive levels of Exo 2 & 3
-
Not ever. Just since the wall duuuude.
Couldn't agree more, that is pretty much unbeatable, ever. Saw Floyd do it twice.
-
Not sure of my favourite track as I have only heard the last 4 songs once.
I do not get all the 'Mercy' haters though as I love it in the same way I love Resistance
The album is currently my 4th favourite Muse album and defo better than the last 3.
Best concept album since the Wall.

After 1 play through it is my 4th favourite Muse album and better than the last 3.
Best concept album since The Wall.

Gutted that they are playing the day after I go on holiday and I have never seen them anywhere smaller than the Echo Arena
I like the Academy as a venue so I hope all you lucky people have a mezzin night.
Hopefully they will do an Arena tour later in the year but they seem to have completely changed their normal release, arena tour, stadium tour format this time around
-
Unbelievable, unimaginable, no unsustainable which was unforgetable from the stadium tour.
Undoubtedly the visual highlight of the show.
If anyone can think of any more "un----------ables" then help me out.
-
New Born at the Echo arena.
This was mainly due to the amazing lasers which are the best visual memory I have of any gig anywhere by anybody and that includes Pink Floyd and led Zep

That's brilliant, wish they had done it for Manchester.
Looking at the crowd it is quite obvious there is no such thing as a typical Muse fan except they all have great taste in music.
It is also interesting to see how many are of more ( ahem ) advanced years like myself.
