Thanks for the suggestion. I'm writing it down right so that I don't forget. I might need a new memory card. Ok, so you put it on high-speed burst, then do you let the camera automatically adjust the rest of the settings? Or do you go to the programmable mode? I'm worried about the low light and wondering if the aperture needs some adjustments. It is supposed to be a smart little camera though...
Did you ever get grief at the door? This camera is a good bit larger than anything I've ever tried to take in before.

'high-speed burst', a Class 6 card, and let the camera sort the rest of it out. You really don't need to adjust anything else. If you take 1,000 pics, about 70-100 will be alright, so the trick is to shoot a lot!
And no, it's a fixed lens camera so you shouldn't ever have a problem at the door.
Also, I've just remembered another detail: I've never used flash, not ever.

@Ella -- the pics you were asking about are from Atlanta in Feb. 2010, that was my very first time with my Lumix and I wasn't quite sure what I was doing. For best results, I'd suggest 'high-speed burst' setting, and make sure that the memory card you are using is rated no less than Class 6.

I don't usually post here, but my dream from last night was so strange that it needed mentioning...
I was in the dentist's office, in the chair, getting my teeth fixed (I know, right?).
Matt was the dentist.
I woke up thinking, WTF??
I vaguely remember being aware that it was MATT (!!!) who had his hands in my mouth, yet nothing about it struck me as odd at that moment.
I am still laughing about this weird-ass dream now! lol lol

I personally can hear/feel Rage influences on both Showbiz and Origin. Perhaps without Rage, OoS would not have turned out to be the awesomness that it is!

Yes, I think "Glorious" is divine!! It's responsible for my temporary hearing loss when I first discovered it. (The song ran on loop on my mp3 player for 2 days -- I didn't sleep, I couldn't)
