There's a bit of info on their future plans in the end
They may be coming back to North America in August (hope it doesn't interfere with their Russian plans ) and do one festival there
I immediately thought Lollapalooza, but they just played that in 2010. I can't imagine they'd go back so soon hey? Bonnaroo perhaps?
The radio station that did this interview (my staple station at work ) puts on a mini 1 day festival the first weekend in September every year. Considering the amount of insane ass kissing they've done regarding Muse since The 2nd Law came out, I have to wonder. Miniscule chances probably, but I bet they're trying/have tried to get Muse.

Map for a better perspective on where they're playing/where they're yet to play. Opening acts subject to change and all that.
Wow that's a massive empty spot right smack dab in the middle of that map

Hey Fabri! Did Virgin say anything about when tickets go on sale when they announced those Italian gigs?
-
Apparently Wembley has another announcement tomorrow...
Keeping in the tune of a) Italian dates being (unofficially) announced today and b) the Stade de France gig listed as the 25th on that ticketing website... I think it's safe to say that tomorrow will probably be the official announcement?
Hopefully :o
-
yeah definately June because I seem to remember Matt saying something about Mexico and S.A. in August. I remember because I was hoping they'd do a few more American gigs before they head south...
Stadiums in the States? yes or no?
I vote no. Not big enough yet, I think.
-
Yeah I lived in the far south 2 years ago, before moving here I never went to a gig
http://www.infoconcert.com/salle/stade-de-france-8531/concerts.html paris, 25th of June. Wasn't the 22nd rumored?
I seriously could not have booked my holidays any more perfectly.... June 22 - July 14
I'd love it if the 25th turns out to be true. I'd probably pop over for that one.
-
Now to wait for the official announcement to go out.....
-
Talk about sitting on pins and needles

An italian radio (Virgin Radio) will announce the two italian gigs in one hour. So probably announcement from the band around the same time?
Eek! <3
-
Correction: Turin 29th of June, Rome 6th of July. Basically confirmed. Announcement tomorrow, probably.
Sweet. Gives me an excuse to hop over to Italy

Oh dear, yet another person I know who's had issues with them in the context of gigs! Never again
I mean, the crowd atmosphere was GREAT for the show, the French did go NUTS for CP. But, definitely not near as friendly as my experiences with you UK lot ;P
-
You do that! The SDS gig was at the beginning of June in 2010. SDF will probs be just before Glastonbury but I just don't want to go there again!
Hmmm. Keeping my fingers crossed for some post-Glasto dates! Maybe they'll change up the dates this tour?
I don't blame you! The French weren't very friendly with us at all in September, apart from one diehard Coldplay fan who was there by herself.
-
She meant just before or after Glasto because she'll be in the UK (from Canada) for the festival
What she said As much as I'd love for them to play Glasto, it's fairly obvious that won't happen this year.
-
Do you think they'll play the Stade de Suisse again? I don't want to see them at the Stade de France again but wouldn't mind going back to Switzerland.
I'm praying for a couple of gigs are Glastonbury. If something like this happens post-Glasto, I'm coming with you Pip

As well, it seems HIGHLY unlikely that they would be playing a stadium in Edmonton, when they didn't even sell out an arena their last time through here.
Definitely gave me a chuckle
-
Btw, people still throw bottles? Unfortunate. There was an opener at one show called the Creepy Creeps that was unloved by the crowd (may have been that FM show?) Frontman dressed as mariachi played every song on a coffin shaped keyboard set to organ, and even then nobody chucked anything at him, though they possibly should have.
I threw a bottle once A half full bottle of water... this was at warped and it was brutally hot out so I figured people would appreciate the bit of water spray.... ended up dumping most of it on the two poor people behind me
Felt like a right arse... and never doing that again. Ever

I love this thread ^_^ Definitely gunna be forwarding to my two friends who are coming to the Edmonton gig with me. I don't think either have been in a pit before

Was watching the Nascar race yesterday with my Dad and heard Uprising playing during a clip for Jimmy Johnson haha
Then heard Uprising for an ad for V.
Muse are finally started to take over NA! YAY!
-
Watching the ice hockey world championships final on telly. Muse was played twice: first Assassin in a preview of team Russia and right after that Invincible in a same kind of montage of Canada. I also heard a couple of seconds of the KOC riff a few nights ago, when they showed some Finnish hockey fans.
Hockey + Muse = Win
Agreed there ^_^
-
Honestly, the last time I heard Muse in the media was in the trailer for Watchmen. They used Apocalypse Please.
I wish they were more popular in North America.
I heard them use Take a Bow on the radio for Watchmen once ^_^
Agreed >.<
-
Glorious for sure ^_^
-
No way! I have yet to hear GM Place play Muse during a Canucks game.
I remember watching a game once, can't remember the two teams that were playing, but they played Hysteria in between the puck drop. That was last season though... haven't heard any this season.
Yeah it was wicked ^_^
Thats awesome... It makes me feel hopeful that Muse will gain some more recognition out here and maybe they'll make more stops along the west ^_^
Then again that is also wishful thinking xP

Watching the Calgary and Chicago playoff hockey game last night I heard KoC played in the arena after an icing call....
My Dad must have thought I was nuts when I shouted out a triumphant Yes! from the couch when there wasn't any playing of hockey going on lol
In the club i worked in, KoC every friday and sat night, and then SMBH TWICE in 2 dif sides of the bar one friday night ^.^ oh working to love is joyI'm insanely envious of you there... I wish they made clubs that like out here. The nightlife would be so much more appealing haha
Speculation on future gigs/tours

Ahhhh that would make sense. I thought Bonnaroo was in August for some reason.
I think he meant there may be one in August. I can't imagine they would jump over for a festival in the middle of the stadium tour.
