HEY!

I saw your post about a "crappy hotel near the arena" me and my mates found one called Etap Hotel and it's like 5mins walk to get to the arena. We've got to book a hotel aswell as we're from Newcastle aswell (was propa gutted they aren't playing here) However the hotel is also near a station aswell. Train to Sheffield from Newcastle

Train from Sheffield Station (Guessing it's something like a metro we have in Newcastle haha) which then goes to a station called Arena-Don Valley Stadium

Station (kinda right next to the arena aswell)

You then walk what looks like 10 mins to the hotel from that station

Then from the hotel and arena look about 5mins apart (if you go on google maps and type in etap hotel sheffield arena you can see how close they are the arena is the white building kinda nearest the railway line)

The hotel for me and my 2 other mates in one room is £35 (one night) but of course that's for all 3 of us and i couldn't tell you how much per person

I personally randomly found them on google ... just type in etap hotels then in the search box when you get on their site type in Sheffield Arena and that is the hotel.
