Unlikely I might possibly have a green-eye gene, because I think my mum has green eyes, but I don't think I do. So if I do, and I pass to my child (it's a fifty-fifty chance), and my hubby has one and passes it to our child, then the child'll have green eyes. But if I pass on my brown-eye gene, then the child will have brown eyes regardless of what the other gene is, because brown is dominant. So if I marry a green-eyed boy, then it's a fifty-fifty chance my child will have green eyes. But that's only if I do actually have a green-eye gene, which I don't know if I do.
