Too late to the party I think?
I didn't receive an email, but I was sent the link in a private message. I'm just getting a greyed out 'Full Price Ticket' thing.
Anybody got a spare ticket
-
Everyone who got the email knew when the presale was gonna be. Not showing it on the site until it was time probably just saved the site from crashing by people trying to get a ticket without the correct password. So their only fault would be that it was 10 min delayed. Those of you who didn't get ticked (me included) wouldn't have had a better chance at getting one if they opened it exactly at 9.
But people will be angry they didn't get a ticket, I get it.
I think it's also the fact that the code was generic and didn't offer any exclusivity to long term fans. The Psycho Tour was handled much better and I see no reason why this couldn't have been the same.
Add on top of that the constantly changing ticket prices and then the website not refreshing until 10 minutes after the presale was supposed to start - I'd say people are justified in being annoyed.

Honestly I don't think ticketmaster did that much wrong.

Ticketmaster are absolute cock wombles
-
Ticket prices have changed - most expensive is £100 now.
So it has - this seems really messy? And still nothing about the Fan Presale or R+L Presale on TM website?

Definitely CE made up for it. SS awesome but I thought that was a staple anyway? MOTP was overplayed in the Black Holes tour so I would rather they gave that a miss!
I enjoyed Prelude into Starlight, it was a WTF moment! It made Starlight more enjoyable. JFK into SS was another similar confusing thing.
I'd pay to just see CE live in fairness, best thing they've ever done in my opinion.
Nah SS has become a rarity, only played it 8 times on this tour. Yeah I wasn't expecting JFK to lead into SS but it worked better than Prelude into Starlight. Still, I feel interludes should always lead into the songs they're written for, feels like an anticlimax otherwise.
Yeah MOTP was a staple for a while too but I haven't seen it the last 5/6 times so it was nice to hear it again, like bumping into an old friend.

Lack of Hysteria upsets me. Even though I've seen it every other time, it feels strange to not have it.
SS, CE and MOTP make up for it though I suppose.
But Prelude into Starlight is awful. Just plain awful!

So what about Nothing But Thieves playing in Manchester on 2nd Apr, the same night they're now supporting Muse in Birmingham? I was offered tickets to go to that but had to turn it down cuz I already had my Muse tickets. Bit harsh on their fans if they cancel that show to support Muse dontcha think?

Hello everybody !
I love mathematics and I've made some calculcations : if the picture is in good scale (sorry for my bad english) (based on the fact that there is 0.4 m² per person and 5242 person):
length of the scene (withtout barriers) : 43 meters
width (withtout barriers) : 2,3 meters but 10,3 meters in the center and 6 meters in both arrows.
There are 2 meters between the scene and the barrier (it's relevant).
And eventually, I have calculated the space there is between the first seats and the scene (without the barriers): 13 meters at the top and the bottom here in the picture and 10,5 meters on the right and left sides.
If we consider the scene will be the same everywhere and the moshpit roughly the same (the proportions will be the same), we will be sure to see the band well.
EDIT : I've read somewhere that the scene will be larger than Metallica's scene.
That's some pretty fancy ass maths

Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust
David Bowie - Starman
Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure
Will probably add to this...but just off the top of my head now

2nd Law Tour was at NEC (LG Arena), which is a different venue out by the airport.
The Resistance Tour was at the NIA (Barclaycard Arena). The atmosphere/crowd were just as good as any other gig I've been to, and the debut of MK Ultra sent people into a frenzy.

2 standing, ridiculously simple compared to previous presale. Seems as though this announcement has gone slightly under the radar
-
Buzzing for this! Going to Perugia for my girlfriends best friends wedding on 15th, and then extending the trip to Rome for 5 nights so we can fit Muse in as well :D:D
Always wanted to see Muse in Italy
-
Still can't find a link that works!!!
Anybody got WeTransfer?
-
now for three hours of family guy...better than the usual post gig, sweaty, achy comedown
-
Not Matt's finest hour.
I blame Chris' hair.
beat me to it. well played
-
This setlist was always gonna be 'safe'. It's Radio 1 and televised, plus the crowd buy tickets before the line-ups announced so probably no more than 10% are actual Muse fans.
-
I think it'll just be Starlight and Knights after this
Still 20 minutes...could be:
PiB
The Handler
Starlight
KoC
One can dream
-
The bass has sounded awesome tonight...and Hysteria just emphasised this, so much beef
-
how long before that gets made into a GIF?
-
-
in before hullabaloons
-
I think Chris' hair is worse tbh
THIS x1000. Worst part of Drones era has easily been Chris' barnet - which speaks volumes for how on form the boys have been actually...

Just managed to get 2 standing tickets using the Members presale link, just in case anybody had given up hope yesterday...
