You know what would help the server? Getting rid of threads like this
-
It was an older episode they were showing, it wasn't on the new season premiere.
That's why I said I don't remember it..
-
Showbiz on Being Human!
Eh? I don't remember that
-
we are both not tall me 5`9 my partner5`2 so i think we`ll sit in level one seating as it seems all the tall people want to stand:)
5'9 isn't that short
-
chris' side apparently is a lot more calmer...)
That's usually bollocks though. Yeah people tend to rush for Matt's side/middle first but it depends on the crowd

People complain that Guiding Light is cheesy when Bliss, highly rated on this forum for some reason, is just as cheesy.
But I understand that I'm part of a minority who dislikes the song. I don't really hate the song I just can't figure out why its rated so highly on this forum.
How the hell is Bliss on the same cheesy scale as Guiding Light? It's about someone who likes someone so much they basically want to tear them apart so they can have what they have to themselves. It's quite an angsty song

Oh thanks!
But by the time they reach the Australian shores won't they have the new stage set happening?
http://muse.mu/images/160/production-rehearsals-may-2010/
Or is that set up just for in Milton Keynes?
That's for the stadium tour, I reckon you will get the towers back. There is no way they can sell tickets behind the stage for that set

Hi guys,
I got a couple of tickets to the Melbourne, Australia Muse concert today, and I got tickets that are behind the stage. I'm pretty close to the stage though, which is reallllly good!!
However, I've never been to a concert where people sit behind the stage...
So my question is.. Am I going to miss out on much (apart from the supporting act)? Caus they'll have their back turned to us, and all the lasers and stuff will be projected out in front of us, not at us.
Anyone know?
Cheers
We just discussed this here: http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=67376&page=660

I was just wondering who has been in the mosh for The Resistance tour and whether or not you had a good view of the stage and such, or if you think it would've been more enjoyable from seats?
This thread is pretty big and this question has probably been answered, but I don't want to read the whole thing.
Tis better from slightly to the side, but yeah, good view

It's the bass.. BOOM BOOM BOOM and then the guitar is sexy
-
I do love it live, I have to admit.
-
I can hear:
Guiding Light drums
Resistance (love is forever/our resistance)
Starlight is a bit like the chorus
Knights of Cydonia drumming when it kicks in
Guitar sounds a bit like Take A Bow's just before it kicks in
Unnatural Selection with the 'ocean' bit
A United States of Eurasia Queen-style bit nearer the end
I Belong To You at the end
Bliss synths but higher pitch in the backgroud at some point
More than 4 songs then I agree though. It's mind boggling

Yeah, I"m going to mostly arena shows IE Nassau. So basically they'll just go around look at the tickets hand out wrist bands then its a race to get into the pit when doors open? What time do the doors typically open?
It should say on your ticket but usually about 6.30pm
-
Quick question here, I have GA Floor/PIT tickets to a few shows coming up in the fall. Just wondering, how do you go about getting a wristband for the floor on the day of the concert? Do you go up and get your ticket scanned and you get a wrist band or do they just hand them out or what? Also how many people would you estimate are on the floor at Muse concert (never been before)?
Thanks so excited!
It depends on the venue, if there's a golden circle then it's who turns up first ie those who queue but that shouldn't be the case in arenas so they'll prob give it to you when you show them your ticket.
And again, depends on the venue. Maybe you should look up the venues you are going to and it should tell you
-
I honestly don't see the point of crowd surfing.. making your way to the front only to be dragged roughly out by security and taken to the back of the pit? I really don't get it
-
It also depends on the gig as a whole I think, the gigs I've enjoyed the most I wasn't at barrier and I've been on barrier about five times I think
-
I have experienced Muse gigs from the barrier, from seats both near the stage and at the back and from standing a lot further from the stage. All are each a different experience in their own way. One of the worst gigs I was at the barrier so don't think you have to be there every single time
-
I think the reason that people are saying they want to sneak into the pit is because they are pissed they didn't get pit tickets, or had no chance (such as I, now forced to buy it from a scalper)
Tough shit, we can't all get what we want, there's probably loads more people who couldn't get any tickets at all or make it to the gig
-
You are complete morons for even considering that

Whooops, seems like I got quite a scolding in here. My apologies. GA n00b here.
I did get in line early--well, 6 hours before the show, and lined up under the burning sun just like almost everyone else. I do realize I brought it upon myself, and I did realize at that time that what I did was rude and annoying. but in this part of the world we only get one Muse gig every few years (not even in my own country), and I'm not even sure if I'll be able to see them again, so I went for it and squeezed myself to the front anyway. I know I was wrong, but I didn't fly a thousand miles away from home to be drowned in the crowd, hence my "damn y'all I have to be in front" attitude.
Well, in case I get another chance to see them again at least I'll know what to observe next time. thanks guys.
I just hope you didn't actually go for the barrier otherwise you're an utter twat. I was getting mega angry at a premiere the other week. People doing the typical "I am going to stand sideways and edge my way in so nobody notices" No, I know that move anywhere and I notice. Get the fuck out you twat. It really honestly angers me. If you're 5 2 then try for barrier or be prepared for that exact atmosphere.

im incredibly excited for my first muse show on wednesday..but im even more anxeous and nervous that because of how security handles early GA queue-rs and how they let everyone in though the various gates..i may not be able to get my beloved barrier that ive dreamed of for too long now! and im even getting out there at 7:00 AM to try and assure myself that il get it:(
You're going to get barrier at that time, I don't get why you're worrying Most people don't arrive til 12 hours after that! Security all depends on the venue, some are good, some are bad. Just make sure you're queuing in the right place, usually security don't turn up until it gets a little busy
-
Camera men and security are really the only 'obstructions' you need to worry about if you get right up at the barrier. You may have to crane your neck back to see them when they're up on the towers but other then that it's a pretty clear view.
Unless it's a massive venue like Wembley, the first night I couldn't see Matt for shit, had to crane over a load of people
