this is the most addicting song they've made in a long time
the 'yamma defector' before the solo and the solo played twice makes it so easy to ignore the rest of the lyrics
-
my only gripe is the solo... if they weren't going to change it up the solo should've been a little bit shorter, otherwise this is the first muse song that's made me push the rewind button 10 times after the first 10 seconds in a LONG time.
-
hopefully they show assassin because it sounded like matt turned the evil switch on his guitar when they started playing GOB
-
Sounds like a BH&R b side. I like it.
-
I actually really like the last verse, especially live. Could've REALLY done without the "I'm the greatest guy" thing..
The chords at the beginning of the second part are boring but the singing makes up for it pretty quickly.
Bass sounds like Glorious/Darkshines at times.
I really like it.

you heard something shorter than an instagram preview and you're all writing it off

Psycho -
-
that first clip sounds more like qotsa than psycho does

It's a good song. It's got the heavy, uncontrolled, low-polish sound that Muse has been missing for a while. Matt's voice is on-point, the guitar riff is great. The people who say it doesn't go anywhere, so, do you not like Dead Star or Assassin? This is proto-typical pre-Resistance Muse metal/rock.
I can headbang to it, and it's not electro-pop shit. It's got groove.
this song should've ended with a beefier version of the riff, that's the difference between psycho and dead star.. also dead star isn't 5 minutes long
-
Well, I just caught up with the last however many pages and I am fucking psyched. Definitely hearing the lyrics as:
I'm gonna make you, I'm gonna break you, I'm gonna make you...a fucking PSYCHO!
I'm hearing:
I'm gonna make you
I'm gonna make you
I'm gonna make you
Into a Psycho

Nope. 301 views it what happens when a video goes viral and is viewed several hundred thousand or even million times in a very short period. The views don't update for a day or two and it always gets stuck on 301.
That was actually a much better attempt whoever made the second one for that reason.
That's 301+ as Fabri said. You can still have a video that has 301 views. COME ON GUYS!
-
Mine is much more convincing - yours is uploaded almost a week ago with no likes yet, no comments and only 300 views. It has the same run time as Madness and it says Mix - Madness on the right.
I just forgot to close the paint tab.
Anyway that was just a test run. I'll step up my game before the tour.
it's a private video, dom matt and tom could've watched it 301 times
-
If you're going to troll at least TRY..

But no one is suggesting they used the youtube video as the source of the remaster. You know it's possible they just remastered the
original source.
And he's not suggesting that anyone suggested they used the youtube video as the source. He's simply saying it seems like they used the original source video.

Dom's dad?
Died after the gig

I thought their performance of Stockholm Syndrome was excellent! The energy from the band (especially Dom) and Matt's "freedom!" scream in the outro..... just wow!
Reminds me of the scream in MK Ultra @ Rock am Ring
-
Fully functional actual size Dead Star > floating acrobats
fixd
-
Dancing aliens > floating acrobats
-
i've noticed it since the release of the song too but didn't really think much of it
-
Madness first performance because of the "I need your love" vocals:
MK Ultra @ RAR 2010 because of the OoS scream at 2:25 and Matt's actually
rocking out to the riff right after for once instead of just walking around:

Edit:
Was watching that gig again, adding Hysteria to that list:
Love that outro in place of the riff.

Supremacy is an acceptable replacement for CE in my books.

Writing this out made me realize how much of T2L they're actually playing live compared to The Resistance.
No wonder I saw more older songs back then. Bummed we didn't get Hysteria, would've preferred Bliss over PiB especially since they don't do the balloons anymore

I don't think it beats the 04 perfs but it's probably one of the best SS performances they've done since then.
