    According to people at the Exeter gig, the French fans started queuing at 3am. I'm sure they will do some gigs in France soon. Why ruin it for everyone else by hogging the front and acting like they are in charge.

     

    It's their own personal choice and dedication if they want to queue all night, I have no problem with that. It's admirable, but trying to "guilt" other fans into a queuing system and pushing into queues thinking they're more deserving than others is just not on.

     

    Anyway, I had to vent. Back to talking about the Manchester gig ;)

    It's probably them who started the unofficial numbering system.

     

    I'm not mentioning names or causing a fracas, but.... It definitely is.

     

    They're a passionate group of fans I'll give them that but I almost lost it last night when they thought they could and eventually did push into the queue for the parking tickets when there were 50 people already waiting. Starting to think they rule the bloody roost.

    I was standing next to you for a brief amount of time before the gig. Saw you posting on the board :LOL:

     

    Pls tell me there were recording equipment (cameras and stuff)! I. NEED. THAT. GIG. ON. DVD.

     

    There were cameras for Psycho and Futurism, not sure about the others.

    They played Cardiff in 2010. I wasn't a fan then, though. I'm upstairs. The receipt has seat numbers on it but it says 'unreserved.' What's that about?

     

    Do you think if we hang around the stage door afterwards we might get to meet them?:eek:

     

    All standing tickets have numbers against them, don't worry :)

    You can double-check by logging into your ticketmaster account > My tickets > Order Details > Print Receipt.

     

    It should say unreserved standing there.

    If you can get to East Midlands Airport there is 24 hour bus services to the three Cities and Loughborough (Skylink services). There's also a national express service to Nottingham through the night which is much quicker than the bus.

     

    You can walk to the airport in about 30 minutes, or book taxis.

     

    By the way, the venue isn't actually in Derby, or even that close to it. You still need to take a bus or taxi.

     

    Didn't know that, cheers Moz.

    Might be a good alternative to the shuttle buses that run from the site to Derby.

     

    Where would you recommend is best to stay, for those not camping?

    Last night I had a dream where a coach full of boardies were outside my house going to this 'amazing gig' at the o2. I didn't have a ticket, and then I decided I made a fatal mistake and needed to go. The coach left, and my gf's mother offered me a lift to the o2 tube station. The dream ended.
