I am an exhausted, broken, bruised, shell of a man after saturday. I genuinely have no words.
-
Yep, nope. Hulla's edited to fook anyway so higher quality wouldn't really make it any more watchable for me, personally. I'd love them to do it for HAARP's 10th next year though.
I thought it was just me who found Hullabaloo tricky to watch. If the still have all of the raw footage though, it'd be really interesting to see them "re-cut" it. Performance-wise, it's their best DVD.

Would be sweet if they announced a second gig but somehow made it that you couldn't have tickets for both, to maximise people who could attend.
Honestly, I think the more realistic thing to ask for is a Live DVD/Blu Ray with proceeds/profits going to The Passage. not quite the same for sure, but it's better than a kick in the teeth
-
Keep trying between now and the gig, I remember randomly checking for tickets for the Exeter gig in 2015 the day before and somehow managed to get 2.
Same, but for me it was Manchester while i was in the queue for Exeter

Feel free to delete this post if it's too off topic, but....
Is there a list or website or something where we count how often a song has actually been played live yet? Because, I know the songs that I've heard live but I have no idea what songs are rarities and which are not. We are a very well organised fandom, so I'm pretty sure someone's put some stats together somewhere at some point.
tbh, setlist fm makes a pretty good job of it.

Not looking forward to friday. bricking it tbh

What the hell, I'm bored, and in my head, this is something they could plausibly do on a stadium tour if they were a little daring (because it felt more fun to come up with something workable than just a wishlist)
Intro - Playback JFK's Inaugural Address (up until "what you can do for your country"), loop end; radio static etc until...
MK Ultra
Assassin
The Handler
The Small Print
Psycho
Map of the Problematique -> Maggie's farm outro
Citizen Erased (in to piano section)
____________
Hoodoo
Endlessly
New Born
____________
Undisclosed Desires
Dead Inside
Madness
Invincible
Time is Running Out (with Host intro)
Starlight
Blackout (with string Section)
Exogenesis (with String section)
(Encore 1)
Glorious
Plug In Baby
Bliss
(Encore 2)
Mercy
Knights of Cydonia

It can be tight and still pretty much a joke though. Matt's screams and "ugh"s, the slap bass, the silly lyrics...I don't really see what separates it to something like NKOK, other than the fact that it had a bit more care put into it.
Honestly, the only bits of your evidence for its "jokiness" that stand up to any real rigour are the screams; maybe the ughs. Matt, as a lyricist, is bloody hopeless, and the slap bass is just a good fit for a sort of funk aligned song. Not being four to the floor rock =/= being a joke song

Of course it does. Muse is a business, bottom line. The record label doesnt spend money on making music videos just because.

Tour starts on the 20th. new song builds hype for live shows = potentially higher ticket sales if they're not sold out already

With regards to musebay, can I ask that we please treat folk with a today join date with a TINY bit of suspicion until we see that they actually participate on the board? It seems all to coincidental that they've joined so recently when taken in concordance with Niall pointing out that touts had discovered the presalea

Hi guys. I see some good tickets on Musebay, but the person doesn't look like they've made a lot of posts. It says to investigate them- what would be good things to ask?
a good one is asking how they've become available
-
SECC also had some at the venue on the day I think.
If you're at all unsure, contact the venue and ask if they had tickets on sale there on the day.

Right, looks like the meet up for sat/sun has, well, fell apart completely

I know, tbf, I have done a fair bit with my poems since I woke up (following my regi teacher's advice which works year in year out. [get up early, get it out of the way and the day is yours]) and I'll look back over the worksheets we have for death of a salesman after dinner
a few of my mates are actually in manchester
-

More likely to have been a judgment call based on the rest of the setlist. Eternally missed would have brought the flow to a crashing halt. It's good, but it doesn't quite have enough going on
