We all suspected it, but finally video proof that Dom controlls the start of the tracks!

The song is at 93bpm - if you set a metronome to that and start it at the time his foot hits that pedal it comes in perfectly!
On HAARP you can see him tap his foot on something in time before he clicks his sticks, which is in time, so I think it's definite

Just heel-toe with your left foot to do that, really. Easier than moving your foot back and stomping the back of the pedal with the front of your foot.

Nobody really NEEDS a new kit when they buy another
Watching these videos is making be feel a bit rubbish cos my skills have severely dropped through a lack of being able to practice at Uni. Thank god I go home on friday to practice over summer.

No demonstration picture of a kit looks particularly playable for most people because everybody sets their kit up different. That gong bass does look unreachable though, you'd just have to keep throwing sticks at it

I like the hardware as is, tbh, looks a bit sleeker. Any argument that the mirage is nicer has to be immediately dismissed I'm afraid, though, Adam:p

Niles, I blister like crazy too, no matter how much I play to harden my hands up. Blisters are obviously the signs of a good drummer

Yeah, 8D's are thin/light. I picked up a pair randomly and loved them. used them ever since.
And I still can't get my bass drum pedal set up perfectly
I can do the foot movements for tonnes of stuff, but i can't get the pedal set up to transfer that to the bass drum properly..if you catch me drift.
