Yes, I too hoped he would use the organ... Too bad. Loved seeing him abuse the amplifier though...
For me, Megalomania on the organ was the highlight of their previous gig at RAH, so .

If there is a barrier it would be first come first served I would imagine. Wristbands to allow you to go in and out of the front section during the show.
I was assuming that it was for people who paid extra for the 'enhanced experience' tickets.

Just got mine, you need to go here http://click.e.wbr.com/?qs=3adc884fa7e0ca052f66c81d5c77d7da4a961359ec788798d377ac5de8c8c444dd0fd309c015fe728c42eb1a8f205b6c6ce41562b937c4c9
(The link in the fan club email)
I was trying the password they sent me for ages and it said it was working and unlocked tickets for sale but they stayed locked. I just tried SIMULATION as the code instead and it actually unlocked them for sale.
How hard is it to set this stupid sale up ticketmaster?
Cheers for that - still no email this morning.
Pitch standing, GA5... although as a gashead I'm still conflicted about the venue (it's a Bristol thing).

whats going on??? i cant buy them cos im not with american express???
I'm getting that as well.

Yeap, disappointed here. Expected to see the London gig to sell out quickly and an extra date added.
Have they lost a few fans or are the ticket prices getting a bit too high? If the change in direction has lost some older fans it could gain them some new one's but maybe it's to soon for the new one's to get on board yet.
Speaking as an older fan, I'm okay with the new direction (although I adored Drones), but won't be going the London Stadium gig, and I'm only in Oxfordshire.
The price doesn't help, but it's mainly the venue that's putting me off: the running track means the seats are a long way back from the pitch; East London is impossible to get back from by train the same night on a Saturday, which means paying for a hotel; and frankly I feel disconnected from the band in a big stadium and end up watching the screens - I don't want a 'show' with lots of extra stuff because otherwise people at the back can see bog-all, I just want the band giving it 100% on stage.

Might try that. Actually I’m getting quite philosophical in my old age, but I’m more disappointed for my youngest, who was to accompany me. At 12, and entirely self taught, he’s turning out to be a natural pianist. He certainly didn’t get that from me!
Good luck for Friday for all those who didn't get tickets today.
-
How did all you guys get tickets at 8am when mine said presale starts at 9? Clearly I’ve missed something and gutted. Suffice to say I got absolutely nothing
The sale started exactly at 09:00 (tried refreshing several times at 08:59, then suddenly it said the ticket system was at maximum capacity).
-
No luck. All gone within 4 minutes! Old arthritic fingers not quick enough.
Nvm. It’s a smallish venue anyway, so it was very limited. There’s always next year’s tour to look forward to, and I’ve just saved some money so the family won’t starve at Christmas
Try again Friday in the main sale?

I wonder if the fact you can only re-sale tickets at face value (is that correct?) is making it easier for us. No more bots buying up the tickets.
Hope they do the same system for the main tour.
And they are quite expensive. Hope they don't do that for the main tour. Less production, more songs, please.
got ma tickets! Rear circle. too old to stand these days!Side Circle; too old to stand as well.
Muse Gig #37.

Is there a seperate pre-sale link to buy through or is it through normal one? I was sent a code to use.
Go to GigsandTours.com and look for Muse.

Current link to BBC entire set: Muse at Glastonbury

Watching on BBC 4 and the sound levels/ mix is right off:stunned:
Just been rewatching the recordings from last night (with massive thunderstorm in background today ), and the mix is horrible - was Chris's mic actually working at all? Quite disappointed, tbh - the recordings from Download last year had a much better mix. Maybe it sounded better if you were there.
-
The gig was totally amazing. I'm feeling so empty since it finished, haha, don't ya?
Absolutely. Muse were on fire! Dom did not want to leave the stage (and I didn't want the gig to end).
And now I'm... :'(

An excellent performance from the band and the crowd ; a pity some of the drones weren't working.
Lots of British Musers in Madrid - we brought the weather with us!
Kudos to the shop assistant who saw my #MuseMSF badge and swapped the music on the PA system to Muse.

Well, either way we can see his heart didn't seem in it.
I don't know about that, but general guitar abuse (like chucking one away twice) usually seems to indicate that something's amiss. There was a bit of unintentional feedback at times through the amplifiers, so I wonder if that was also true of the in-ear monitors that the band have - if you can't hear properly what you sound like then it throws you off.

Awe stricken, what a gig it was at the NIA, here is pretty much the only song i recorded.
Sweet.
Thanks muchly for that. What camera/phone were you using?

Finally also learned the lesson about "in the round" gigs after having had the same problem with U2 last year. If you want to see the video wall, don't get seats on the ends!
Wish I'd known that for the O2 gig next week. It would help if Matt and Chris spent a bit more time at the ends of the runways to make up for it, though.
But I cannot describe how happy I was to see the balloons back again. Simple things please this old-timer.
Just found a bit of the tissue from the fountain in my bag. It's shaped like a person - creepy!
-
You have got me worried now, what row were you on? I was standing last night and it was fantastic - block 101 at Manchester next Saturday which looks to be in the same area you were
My London tickets are much the same - seated in an end block. Just as well I was standing last night.
The low seated blocks at Brum from the pre-sale were not good. The crowd was thin at that end because there was no public exit for those standing, which can kill an atmosphere. Maybe the crowd is why they played the set straight through and didn't break for an encore? Whilst I enjoyed a bit of personal space, I could have thumped those four blokes near me who spent half the gig chatting and taking selfies. I mean, who can chat with this setlist?
-
In 24 hours time, I expect nothing less than the apocalypse on stage...
Although I've spent the entire day stressing about having to drive into Birmingham.
-
Did anyone attend this Arena during the 2nd Law tour?
Crowd and atmosphere were awful.
I was there, and no they weren't. I was near the barrier, met some really nice people, and heard the live debut of MK Ultra.
-
31st for me. And I'm nowhere near the most dedicated/sad/obsessed.
Although it wouldn't be nearly that many if the ticket prices had always been this steep.
-
That was surprisingly easy - minimal publicity or just the price? I missed the presale due to being on holiday with a dodgy wifi connection, but standing tickets this morning for me. I might try and offload the London ones now, because getting back from the O2 can be a nightmare...
-
I didn't need it for LiveNation. And I got my tickets!!
Right now the system is really slow, wonder when the tickets will sold out
Thank you for the tip in your post yesterday.
Still some available a few minutes ago when I got mine, but I'm in the upper section of level 2 block 15. Only the higher level seats are available right now (56 euros - why so much cheaper than London? ). Never mind, I've been up in the top level before now - great view but I've had a headache from all the second hand smoke after a while.

I was in the Rausing Circle, Block Y ("cheap" seats), and almost everyone was standing, singing, and very much into it. It makes such a difference, rather than people talking and looking at their phones the whole time.
On the way out, we looked into the posh boxes on Level 2, which had been left open. You would really feel quite isolated if you were in there, with just your champagne and snacks (crisps, macaroons, pretty cakes, etc) to make you feel special. Incidentally, there was loads left over and you could have done a serious snack raid for the journey home.
