    News just in! keeping the thread ALIVE!!!)

     

    I just got back from seeing When a Stranger Calls. Shitty movie by the way. I just thought I'd mention however, Time is Running out was played in a movie preview for some thing with Paul Walker (I think) In it. It looked cool and Muse Blasting through a theater surround sound system is just fine by me.

    This is hardly the most exciting news...but the intro and outro of Stockholm Syndrome was used on Blue Peter just now, to accompany one of the presenters doing a erm...icy run/ tabogan thing. :D:happy:

     

    and the new series of the apprentice has a bit of muse in it too!

    Hate to double post but there's no edit button...

     

    It's the trash, the classic china doesn't come in brilliant finish.

     

     

    Cool! I now have the 18" Oriental China Trash cymbal - got it before Crimbo! Tis the shiz!!! :D

    they do that touchscreen jukebox thing in burtons clothes shops too (on this side of the pond) lol

     

    i ignored that cuz you cause it to play - what i mean is where have you heard it where its NOT ur doing......(this therefore excludes Music Channels and hi-fis!!!)

    I went to wicksteed park today website here and whilst i was on the 'astroglide' i could hear all of absolution being played in the 'laser tag arena'......twas great!!!! lol

     

    ...i have also heard apocalypse please being played in Topman/Topshop in peterborough

     

    .....so that leads me to the question: 'Where have YOU heard muse being played?"

    I need this cleared up!

     

    Does he use:

     

    an 18" Oriental TRASH China

     

    OR

     

    an 18" Oriental CLASSIC China

     

    ....preferably with picture evidence....:p

    mmm very nice mr t. how does it work? do you get all gear free, or do you have to pay a little bit, n can you have as many of em as you like or are there fixed quotas?

    cheers, i just wandered if there was a site where you click a link "If you want your drums to sound like this..." (a recording of nicely tuned drums plays) "...then tune your heads to this..." (a recording of each drum head being struck is played).

     

    That way, because you're copying an already tried and tested tuned drum, your drums will sound that way.

     

    If that doesn't exist, would it be worth someone making one?!?!?! (I don't know how to!)

     

    ....It'll be really popular for drummers wanting to tune!!!!! :):)

    I bought some new pinstripes for christmas and i wanted to get them to sound just right. I have 12, 13 + 16" toms.

     

    Does anyone know what tune each head should be tuned to to make them sound really nice.

     

    Is there a recording that I could buy/download where each skin (By this i mean batter head AND resonant head) is being struck so that i can copy it and make mine sound cool??!!!?

     

    If not...is there any advice on how to tune them just right?

     

    I know the techniques I just need to know the sound they should make to contrast nicely with one another.

    Anyone know the colour of his drums?

     

    Also, how many different stands does he use?

     

    AND...what does he tune his snare and tom-tom heads to? (is there a specific note which each head should be tuned to to sound great???)

    I would like to know everything about doms drums.

     

    I know they are tama rockstars, i know the sizes but i would like to know the colour is and what hardware and cymbals he uses.

     

    I have heard may different cymbals being talked about but i want to know his exact set up.
