  1. Flights from Copenhagen are pretty cheap and tickets aren't that much either, so a little tempted going to this.

Can anyone help me what the venue is like? As I read it, it's at an airport but the videos from last year all show it's inside like in a tent and very intimate. Has it changed this year to something different?

If it's the same as last year there might be a chance for a Montreux part 2 - not so much if it's at a big open air field.

Last year it was a tent set on a field. No idea how it's going to look this year, but I guess it will be the same.

Don't know about Montreux part 2 but I definitely vote "yes" :D

    edit:

Ok, my mistake. Last year the festival was set in a different place than this year so no idea how it's going to look :/

  2. Bottles of water can be purchased but I think they remove the cap before handing it to you so you're not able to re-seal it.

As far as free water goes it is usually in cups and handed out for free in the standing area. I've not been here before but this is usually the case...

You'd think they give out water, but after Vienna I'm not so sure about that anymore. The had some bottles of water, so I thought they were for us, but no, they were for the security... I'm gonna have to buy a bottle when they let us in. Thanks for the reply ;)

  3. Sadly we won't be joining you at this gig, but friends who attended the Muse gig there in 2013 said the GA entry was a mess! Yes, there is a queue outside, but there is a second queue accessed from the parking garage. In theory both are let in at once, but that doesn't always work out. I hope you get your spot! At least there are no GA's in VIP, only seats. Good luck!

Thank you so much. I'll sing Survival in my head and hopefully I'll be able to get the spot I want :D

  4. Hi Paula!

yes, there is a wardrobe where you can leave your jacket. The last times I went there I had a light jacket with me and took it inside with me, and ran to get close to the stage...not so good in winter, for sure, but it looks like it will be a fine, warm day. I hope so, not like now..raining, rather cold :stunned:

but I read here on the board as the barrier is huge this time, you should be able to get a good spot.

It's not like in the UK that there is a line outside the venue, when you get to the security of course it's not a bulk of people running, everyone might get a body check. (My last concert there was some years ago, don't know what changed since then tbh).

Thank you for the answer. So it's not obligatory to leave jackets/jumpers etc? That's good news. I was worried that it'd take a lot of time and I want to go straight to the barrier.

So the security will not allow us to queue? I want specific spot at the barrier so that's very important to me. Thank you again! :)

  5. Hello Musers :) Does anybody have any experience with the venue? Was wondering how it's all organised and whether they actually make people leave their jackets at the cloackroom. If yes, do they line everybody up or is it just complete madness and a lot of running? Want to get prepared for what's to come. Thanks! :)

  6. I've contacted both the o2 and see tickets and the o2 people say that the cardholer has to collect the ticket, but the see tickets say that I don't even need the card. Anybody has been in the same situation and solved it? Heard of something like a letter of authorization, but don't know if it will work. Anybody? Please, I'm desperate.

  7. Does anybody know anything about collecting tickets at the venue when you didn't use your own credit card to pay for the ticket (I used my father's card since mine didn't work)? I'm terrified to think that they may not let me in after I travel all the way to London to go to that gig.

  8. Hi. I got my ticket in the additional sale on gigs and tours. I expected to get it delivered since that's what the page said (and I had to pay the transaction fee), but now they changed the status about its delivery to: "Order will be available for collection from the venue at the time of the event (please remember to take your credit card and reference number)." The've got to be joking! Has anybody else got the same thing?
