Anyone going for the machinehead/tuner upgrade? You can upgrade to a set of Gotoh HAP SG381's, along with the custom knurled machineheads.

It's definitely black, though the light gives it a grey shimmer.

The tuners seem solid to me!
I can provide pictures but can't record any video as annoyingly my amp is at my friends.

Manson Guitar Shop have been contacting customers regarding final spec last week for the 1st batch of MBC1s, any extras would then be charged by the works. Unmodified guitars to be dispatched this week after payment.
Just received mine today, I wasn't too fussed for the FF or sustainer.
I'm impressed so far, the finish feels good and durable and looks amazing. I was thinking about changing the humbucker to a MBK-2 eventually but won't bother, the pickups sound awesome.
Nice to know! Any chance you could do a demo for us on youtube or something? I need my fix until I get mine:p

That's so weird, I'm exactly the same I had mine pre-ordered for my 21st!! Also cannot wait now!!! I'm going to get a sustainer to put in it but I'm not sure about buying a MBK-2 straight away as the bridge pickup does seem to sound pretty nice and total guitar felt it was a good sounding pickup so I might give it a good go first. Plus I'm kind of short on money as I'm getting a new car:D

Yeah, I know what you mean, I'm definitely going to replace both pickups with the MBK-2 and Sustainer, it's just whether or not I want to do it straight away or wait a while before changing anything!
