For me, The Resistance was the album where I discovered Muse. Without the success of Uprising and how it managed to break through the sound barrier on my awful radio station, I probably wouldn't have known about them until much later. So, when people say they hate the album because it's commercialized, I am kind of grateful for that.
It's third in my list of albums, just behind Black Holes and Drones. I love the classical elements and how different it is. Plus, Redemption is the most awesome thing to hear first thing in the morning. No other song can make me want to wake up like that one can.

Sunburn
Bliss
Blackout
Map of the problematique
Redemption
Madness
The globalist

The Globalist couldn't have ended on an uber heavy note. It had to blend in with drones.

Alright, here it is.
DEAD INSIDE
Undisclosed desiresy in a different and better way. Even though the second half of it is a bit U2, I find it quite beautiful. Solid 8/10
PSYCHO
Not my fav to listen to all the time, but great to rock out to, and spactacular live, which I think is the point. Story wise, it works, and he lyrics don't bother me. 7/10
MERCY
I understand the dislike for this, but for me personally it sounds less depressing and is a welcome change in tempo. It's fun to sing along to, and reminds me of starlight, so in other words I like it. 8/10
REAPERS
This one for me doesn't work as much as it seems to for most other fans. It might grow on me, but something about it just isn't the best. 6/10
THE HANDLER
Amazing! This is just awesome, I love Matt's voice in this, and its just so good in so many ways. 10/10
DEFECTOR
Queen Muse at its best. First time listening to it I thought not enough Muse too much Queen, but its actually a huge standout and the instrumental parts towards the end really are awesome. 9/10
REVOLT
Haven't heard this many times yet, but I like it. Definitely it's way more poppy than Muse is usually, but it sounds lovely. 7/10
AFTERMATH
I love it when Muse does a quieter, less bombastic song, and this one is really beautiful. Love it. 10/10
THE GLOBALIST
In one word, GORGEOUS. I never truly expected it to be what everyone thought of it as. Its not Citizen Erased part 2, its just awesome and is definitely my favorite song of the whole album. 10/10
DRONES
Blends perfectly and seamlessly with The Globalist, definitely it can't be fully realized without it. Is definitely different and I think it will grow on me over time. 7/10
Overall, the album is one of the best, still not sure where it stands on that ranking, though. The story through it all makes the album work really well as a cohesive whole, and still is enjoyable to just listen to one or two songs out of the bunch. Amazing job.

I'm going to wait for the album to officially come out before I listen to it, but of the songs they've released so far The Handler, Mercy, and Dead Inside are my personal top three for now.
Very excited to listen to the song Drones, and The Globalist, despite the mixed reviews. I usually think the opposite of most Muse fans, so The Globalist may be really awesome.

So hyped for Mercy and I must say it didn't dissapoint. I like the juxtaposition between the upbeat instruments and the depressing lyrics. Its definitely exciting with every song so far having a markedly different sound. It bodes well for the album overall and I can't wait to listen to it all from start to finish.

Magic is an excellent song! Me and my coldplayer sis sing it all day! It sounds nothing like madness at all!

I'm so excited!

Map of the Problematique. Love this song, it was the first muse song I owned. Then I heard it over 200 times. Had to stop listening to it for a while, but I've started listening to it again and I love it.

Can't wait!

Heard starlight at a bowling alley and at an organic market. Butterflies and Hurricanes in the need for speed trailer, supremacy in a TV show trailer and again before a game of american football. I'm pretty sure that's not all tho

Pleez just one award.

Seriously, muse couldn't have put their new live album release at at better time! The setlist looks great. Explorers, madness, and some others not usually in their live albums are there. Looks like an amazing show. Absolutely stoked. Me and my sister will LOVE this!

Great video. Matt looks really cute and he seems really exhilarated. Awesome. Keep writing some of the best music in the world!

Extract on Muse;
When asked about 'Panic Station' by Muse not making the cut for the A-list, Harding replied:
"Muse are approaching a crossroads - their last single was the first one not playlisted by Radio 1 in a decade. The door remains open to them but we'll have to think carefully about their next album."
WE'LL have to think "carefully" about THEIR album. You can stay out of it, the 2nd law is my 2nd fav MUSE album! And I'm proud of it. Go f**k yourself radio f**kin 1. TRASH

Man I wish the movie would come to boise ID. We don't get any live shows here, and the closest place I can see it is in portland. There's nothing closer! This movie should go EVERYWHERE! I can't get to portland so please please....boise! My heart goes out to any of you who are in the same jam. Luv muse! Saremo invincibili!

"Don't waste your time or time will waste you" is a line that always seems relevant to me, because life isn't very long, and I find myself obsessing whether I'm just wasting it. I'm not quite 20 now, and it strikes me that if I make it to a hundred then I've lived a fifth of my life already and I've nothing to show for it. Also that life is precarious and I'd want something to leave behind of some worth before I go if I die tomorrow or some shit.
