The Handler and Reapers are the first Muse songs to replicate the feeling I had when i first listened to them, coming up to 10 years ago now.
So relieved they're delivering
This, although probably just with The Handler. I love Reapers but TH just has that feel.

Is the Premium Only thing just because of the length? Spotify do like cramming ads in every few minutes from what I remember, so 10 mins without any ads might not be what they want.

It would be weird, I agree, but I can't see WATU being used for [JFK] when they did use a JFK speech on the BH&R cycle.

Notes I wrote from the show/interview tonight
mercy starts off with bass and piano (Matt not on the piano), definitely had a starlight vibe to me.
Defector is the darkest the album gets
JFK is the same audio they used to open some shows during BHAR tour.
They've had thoughts of playing the album front to back
Mercy is about fighting oppressive forces
The handler is where the album makes some sort of shift, and it's also Matts favourite song on the album.

Matt said JFK will be an intro they used in the BH&R era, and there was confusion that this meant WATU even though that was TR era.
I'm assuming JFK will literally be the JFK speech they used to open Madison Garden in 2007 and nothing to do with WATU.

Just been listening to a few Webster Hall recordings, is it just me or is there some electronic voice near the end of the solo? This might've been brought up before but yeah, I swear I can hear something.

Is it possible he forgot they played in 2006 and is actually remembering the 2000 'Big Sunday' with the Hey You Crazy Kids incident?

Listened to it just now for the first time properly (eg on my own with headphones) and I like it a lot more than I did last night, I don't know if it's just me but it didn't translate live. It might work as a live opener but Psycho works so well there.
Oh and I love the flow from Dead Inside to Psycho. Really hope [Drill Sergeant] doesn't mess that one up.
