  1. Someone did point that out to me. I can see why people would think that, but I don't agree. There are many posters/covers which have that style of prominent characters in the centre and then the plot concepts around it. Stranger Things and the Last Jedi are two examples which come to mind.

    I think it's more a case of it's just becoming a more used/modern style.

As it happens, the wikipedia page says that the guy who did the cover art for Stranger Things made this cover (and that the guy who did the cover art for Infinity War did the cover art for the boxed edition of this album).

  2. Where are you located? I'm in US and I ordered the cassette and box set and only got charged $8 for shipping I think

Edit: $8.99 for shipping. Also, my TØP order is showing in my Muse shop account. Guess they use the same merchant?

I'm in the US too, but for JUST the CD it is $5.99 shipping. I mean, maybe I am just too used to buying from retailers on Amazon and the like that charge (at most) 4, if not less.

I can see $9 for the box set+cassette, but 6 just for a CD? Or am I just spoiled?

  3. Aye, I want some specs on the super deluxe version. How big are the art prints/book that come with it?

Also, I wonder if pre-orders will get the digital version of the whole album on release date...

  4. So I'm thinking off selling off the majority of Muse Collection (a list of most of what I have can be found on my profile) as I really need the space it's all taking up. Looking for advice whether I should stick it all on ebay together or auction it as individual items?

I would also be interested in a few items! I am sending you a PM about which ones i am interested in.

  5. I like the song, is catchy and casual-friendly, what you expect of a lead single. This album have things like Reapers, Pyscho and the 10 minutes Globalist. So a mainstreamey first single could help to focus the attention on that wonderful music.

Sorry, just coming in, and unwilling to read the past 160+ pages. I can't tell if you are serious or kidding about the length of the Globalist. If you are serious, that would be awesome. If kidding, that would still be awesome.

  6. What in Muse's songs enrages you? Lyrically or sonically? I thoroughly dislike the environmentalist lectures found all throughout The 2nd Law. Who Knows Who has a cool riff, but trash Mike Skinner. I would rag on stuff from Showbiz, but it was their first album, so whatever. Also, almost all the remixes muse has done should be killed with fire. I could name a number of other things, but lets just keep this simple.

    Ready, set...

  7. So. Title says all. What do you think are the best/most inspired remixes (official and fan made)? Mine are:

    Assassin GOBE

Butterflies and Hurricanes (Remix with Additional guitars)

Map of the Problimatique (Rich Costey edit)

Uprising (Does it offend you, yeah? Remix)

    Panic Station (Madeon version)

As you can see, I mostly prefer stuff that's close to the original, with some exceptions. I also don't know any fan made remixes, which is why I want opinions.

  8. Anyone after the The Resistance Ltd Boxset with the 5.1 surround version of the album? I'm not sure how much they are worth. The box has been opened but everything is there and the vinyls are unplayed.

I also have the Record Store Day Exogenesis Ltd vinyls too if anyone is after that. Also unplayed.

How much dost thou want? Be reasonable, now.
