Anyone else here a fan of Royal Blood?
[soundcloud]

People have always commented saying that my tone is shite, I've worked on it now and I think it should be quite a bit better, what do you think?

Great playing, but fix the tone.
any tips? i'll be getting a proper mic setup fairly soon, the USB out puts far too much high end and gain

Hi! Some Arctc Monkeys covers by me, with tabs.
She's Thunderstorms: http://youtu.be/RHo3THCRkys
This House is a Circus: http://youtu.be/WyQYBrQGIAE
View from the Afternoon: http://youtu.be/VRTcxVgPAhg
House is a circus was awesome, one of my favourite songs

Here's a Cave cover

Btw I'm considering starting a bit of a virtual band for fun if anyone plays bass/drums!
-
hes going through two pogs and a couple of distortion and fuzz on one channel that's split into two guitar amps, clean bass is on a second channel
Hmm, I'll have to try it! I prefer the guitar sound anyway though I think
-
Judging by the videos, his strings are too thick to be tuned an octave higher than normal.
Yep, even on a low gauge it doesn't tune up that high (believe me, I tried ). There's 2 POG's though, but the sound's just far too digital to sound anything similar...
-
@ joemckie Would be better if you'd have done it on bass
@es: I don't agree on not having the vocals! I've always been against oversustaining, I don't like it as it is mostly done to cover up mistakes and sloppy playing styles, and a proper pedal technique makes your songs so much better to listen too.
I'm pretty sure his bass is tuned like a guitar (as daft as it sounds), it's hard to tell... I did try it on bass but sounds 10x better on guitar

Perhaps a bit too much on the POG bass but I know a lot of you like these guys!

I'm not predominantly a bassist but I love the bassline in this one!
-
Funky! I'm liking Celeritas and there's definitely some Rage influence in Omega
Edit: Oh and your singer sounds like Irwin Sparkes of The Hoosiers

My cover of The Groove - got all my equipment sorted now, me like
-
I have new equipment! Still waiting on my Nailbombs to arrive
-
The tone is a little bit...digital, sounds like a multi effect, but anyway, it's a great cover
Ah yeah, Boss GT-100, not got the room for amps and definitely no room for setting up microphones and thanks!
-
dat toan
I can never tell when you're being sarcastic or not and I'm so bad with tones
-
Yay MIDI covers!
-
Just recently got into Them Crooked Vultures, so here's No One Loves Me & Neither Do I on the guitar, octaver action at the end!
-
LMFAO you know when you write something and you think "this reminds me of something", then you find out it's because you heard the song recently? Yeah... that... :'(
-
Yo guys, I posted my band's stuff recently and people liked it, but we definitely sounded too much like Muse, so we've tried to get away from that.
Here's a rough demo of a new tune, kinda 1 take shit and an awful microphone but hope you enjoy

Does it do video too?
Unfortunately not. I tend to export the sound from Reaper and sync it up in a video editing program. I use iMovie
