THERE YOU GO. You can't go much better than that with a full-Drones setlist. Holy shit! Hands down.

  2. Space Dementia isn't after Citizen Erased on the album... also why on earth would you switch Sunburn for Overdue of all songs?!

You're totally right, Micro Cuts is Citizen's follow-up on OOS - I got mistaken by mentally listening to the ending of CE, then Take A Bow piano, then Space Dementia (as posted above, Earl's Court '04 is the perfect example). Thanks for the correction tho.

And the reason to switch Sunburn for Overdue or Fillip is, simply, because I like them better than the overrated opening song :)

  3. It's a recently released single and Muse are currently making profit out of it, so mostly every video that contains a good version of it is being shut down I suppose. They did it with my vids or Reapers and Psycho from Belfast so I guess they will do it with the Dead Inside vids as well.

There are many sites out there to circumvent Youtube's bullshit. Dailymotion, Vimeo, even Flickr would do the trick.

  4. Inspired by MCR's The Black Parade tour setlists where they played the album first then the others

Me likes! :D I would swap Space Dementia and put it after Citizen Erased (just like on the album, maybe with the Take A Bow piano interlude too) and switch Sunburn with anything else from Showbiz, maybe Hate This, Cave or Overdue. I'd also get rid of Agitated (over-rated for me) and put anything heavy instead, maybe MK Ultra or Dead Star. And then you got a pretty fucking great setlist for me.

  5. It's not about the key change it's about the fact that they're in two different guitar tunings, matt would have to retune his guitars low E from Drop D to standard mid song and chris needs the chance to change his bass to play the main riff to hysteria - it just wouldn't work

Ah, I get it now. Yeah, you definitely got a point there, I hadn't thought of that when I designed that setlist. I just thought they both would sound cool played one straight after another - and they in fact do.

  6. It just breaks the flow. It adds 20-30 seconds gap between songs for little to no significantly noticeable difference in sound/tone.

Yep. As a guitar player, I understand that there's also other factors besides the sound: there are some songs which are more convenient to play on a certain guitar due to its weight, fret action, tuning, etc... But swapping guitars definitely DOES affect the flow of the show, no doubt. They should group songs with similar tunings to make it easier, as it's already been suggested.

  7. There was a guitar change after just about every song in Brighton, IIRC.

I agree with the less guitar changes. There's some obvious changes that definitely need to be done (the seven string for Citizen Erased, hint hint, mr Bellamy... for example) but swapping guitars between almost every song is definitely too much. He played almost every song with different guitars in Belfast too, he only kept the same (the Stratocaster) for Hyper Music>Agitated if I recall right. And maybe Uno>Hysteria too.

  8. This may sound like a stupid question, but how could they do Hyper Music directly into Hysteria when they're in different tunings? Unless you meant New Born directly into Hyper Music.

No, I meant exactly what I meant. Something like this (a quick mix I just made for illustrating it): http://www.goear.com/listen/f1ab4e0/hyper-hysteria-muse

No Interlude, no pause before Hysteria, just throw it in the face of the audience like that.

PS. Hyper Music is in Dm and Hysteria is in Am, they're correlative chords so it doesn't sound that bad. It's not like seguing Animals (in D#m) with, let's say, Falling Down (in A major) ;)

  9. Ok, let's dream... Keeping it realistic in terms of length and diehard-songs/warhorses balance:

    01 - Bliss

02 - Map Of The Problematique (Maggie's Farm outtro)

    03 - Animals

    04 - Muscle Museum

    06 - Fury >

    07 - Resistance

    Matt at the piano set

    08 - Con-Science

09 - Hate This And I'll Love You

10 - United States Of Eurasia

    11 - Space Dementia

    12 - New Born (intro) >

    Back to guitar

    12 - New Born

    13 - Hyper Music (directly into > )

    14 - Hysteria

15 - Time Is Running Out (House Of The Rising Sun intro)

    16 - Showbiz

    17 - Unnatural Selection

    18 - Butterflies And Hurricanes

    19 - Citizen Erased

    20 - Psycho

    21 - Supremacy

  10. Hi ya folks :)

I'm becoming somewhat of an addict to tape Muse shows. I recorded Madrid 2012 ( http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=88187 ), which became the audio source for that show's multicam, and Rome 2013 ( http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=90061 ). And yeah, I taped last week's show in Belfast too. The first show of the Psycho UK Tour, and the world premiere of Psycho and Reapers. I still can't believe it, but yet here you are, the first complete recording of the "new Muse" era. Enjoy :D

    2015-03-15 - Belfast (Ulster Hall)

What a show! They announced the Psycho UK Tour only a few days prior to the shows, and the first show was in Belfast, just the day after my girl and I were arriving to Dublin for the St. Patrick's Day! Crazy coincidence, right? I somehow managed to get tickets on general sale and obviously couldn't skip the chance to record the first concert of the tour, which featured two song debuts: the already known Psycho and another one, Reapers, which closed the show.

The concert was an absolute madness, with mosh pits during many songs (notably Plug In Baby, Stockholm Syndrome, Knights Of Cydonia and Time Is Running Out) and screaming fans all around. Muse were in really good form, clearly enjoying themselves and the audience. The recording is not the best (sound at the venue's GA was less than ideal) but it's enjoyable and gives a good impression of the first show! I hope you like it.

  11. What did you use for recording?

It's noted in the info files.

A pair of omnidirectional Church Audio CA-14 microphones:

The mics were fed by a battery box like this:

All of it connected to a Tascam DR-08 recorder, recording in WAV, 16bit, 44.1 kHz:

Pretty standard gear for a pretty standard sound. As I've said, I've done far better recordings with the same and with other gear - just not this time

  12. Sound is slightly muffed but sounds quite good overall! Loving Stockholm

    edit: dat outro :stunned:

I went absolutely mad at the start of Stockholm, that screams you can hear are mine. DAT outtro indeed!!! SS is my favorite song, or well, one of my favorite songs (Citizen Erased and Butterflies And Hurricanes are there, you know). Thanks for the cumpliment - it's far from being my best recording but I did what I could, given the difficulties... Enjoy it as much as you can! ;)

  13. thank you ! :D , resistane such a cool live song in Italy, and even singalong in animals :)

Yes. Resistance is far from being my favorite song, not even from its album, but I have to admit that it's a true live anthem now.

I also have to admit that a good part of the singalongs and close screams you'll hear come from me. Sorry :$
