  1. Matt's "warning" was a bit vague, and unfortunately, not everyone's got jobs that let them take an entire "just in case" day off. :(

You had to be already signed up for the site in order to get the code.

And, well, the site crashed anyways. They probably should have anticipated and fixed that problem as well.

I will agree that I did spend 45 palm-sweatingly nerve wracking minutes simply trying to log in to get my code. That was chaotic.

  2. Such short notice was given that people basically had to be sitting at their computer when it was announced to have a chance of getting tickets.

I don't see why they couldn't do the surprise announcement, and then have tickets go on sale a day or two later.

Matt did kind of give warning that something would be dropping that evening so a lot of fans would have been sitting at their computers in anticipation (me and all my friends who like muse were geared and ready for something). Especially when Matt said it in response to questions about "Belfast 9PM Sunday".

It's shit in that you had to be anticipating it in some way but if it had gone on sale later way more people would have been complaining about it selling out inconceivably fast.

  4. Presale was pretty easy because of the site crashing meanng that tickets trickled away. Today was a lot better managed with less tickets (presumably) so not surprised it went so fast!

  5. Is it too good to believe the power of reporting tickets has resulted on no listings coming up:eek: there were loads of bidding listings taken down but now none are coming up at all! If it is so wohoo and bring on everyday until Sunday. If ppl have spare tickets they should offer the, up here FREE

Now time to play some muse at work and get excited about Sunday

Did you find the person offering you the ticket in the end then? :)

  6. I know!!! And once they've been reported they are monitored for ticket selling in future. I mean it s not gna stop them but they will have to open a new account and their seller rating will go down to zero so will be harder for them to shift tickets hopefully. eBay, ticket master, see tickets etc don't really care as they make a profit either way, it's only the actual people that want to go that loose out in the end so it makes sense that we should be the ones to try and make it as difficult as possible for the resales on eBay, gumtree etc. don't even get me started on how sites like viagogo p*** me off coz there are some well dodgy issues with official (not mentioning names so I don't get sued) selling tickets on there at sky high prices. They deny it but they reserve a certain amount to sell to these companies so they make a huge profit, on top of the fees they charge for emailing tickets!?! Wtf! How can it cost £2.50 to email a ticket. The fees for the Glastonbury ticket were ridiculous this year, when I first went to glas ticket was under 100 and fees reasonable, this year feels like iv sold a little bit of my soul to pay for the fees on the £200+ ticket :(

Sigh, I will just have to win the lottery and start my own festival hahaha I would only sell to fans, and would only charge the proper fee for the cost of posting. Also I would make it so that instead of charging £5-7 processing fee I would ask for a £2.50 donation to a charity. That way no one can say I am making a profit after the cost of ticket. And ticket would be reasonable to :)

    Rant over

I don't know if you noticed but someone offered you a ticket a few pages back...
