Sounded very stadiumy, if you get me. Sounds was pretty obscured but seemed to have a big chorus
-

Edit: im slow

[YT]
[/YT]2 min long Interlude was pretty cool in Glasgow, sounds like he snuck a bit of Resistance in there...

Matt's "warning" was a bit vague, and unfortunately, not everyone's got jobs that let them take an entire "just in case" day off.
You had to be already signed up for the site in order to get the code.
And, well, the site crashed anyways. They probably should have anticipated and fixed that problem as well.
I will agree that I did spend 45 palm-sweatingly nerve wracking minutes simply trying to log in to get my code. That was chaotic.
-
Such short notice was given that people basically had to be sitting at their computer when it was announced to have a chance of getting tickets.
I don't see why they couldn't do the surprise announcement, and then have tickets go on sale a day or two later.
Matt did kind of give warning that something would be dropping that evening so a lot of fans would have been sitting at their computers in anticipation (me and all my friends who like muse were geared and ready for something). Especially when Matt said it in response to questions about "Belfast 9PM Sunday".
It's shit in that you had to be anticipating it in some way but if it had gone on sale later way more people would have been complaining about it selling out inconceivably fast.

Fixed, surely?
In an ideal world yeah, without a doubt. Assassin in the encore would be beasty.

[/YT]Muscle Museum

-
So far they have only been checking cards so if all goes tits up you should be okay
-
They've started taking down Reapers too now.
-
Anyone know how to submit a change request for a locked setlist on setlist.fm?
Riffs after Stockholm were Township Rebellion and Micro Cuts
Plug in Baby had Sweet Child Of Mine outro
And Interlude was significantly extended due to what seemed to be Chris' bass messing up
-
You can almost guarantee that they will do a UK arena tour in Autumn/Winter
-
How the hell did you manage that?? I would've been elated to get a ticket to just ONE show.
Friends with spares mostly and a heap of luck
-
Either way Glasgow, Manchester and Brighton. Lets do this.
-
Presale was pretty easy because of the site crashing meanng that tickets trickled away. Today was a lot better managed with less tickets (presumably) so not surprised it went so fast!
-
I might have missed this, but... wasn't The 2nd Law last album with Warner? I thought their contract ended.
In that case why Warner is still promoting Drones?
Their own label is a sub of Warner
-
They should have posted our names on the ticket, so that nobody can sell them
They have, the people that have bought these tickets off eBay etc won't be able to get in, which makes it all the more shitty
-
Cheers for the links!
Can we expect any rarities at this gig... Maybe even a form of star?
Inb4 a neutron star
Starlight? Pretty rare
-
Does anyone know why the tickets seem to have seat numbers on them? Thought it was standing?
This was the same for Shepherd's Bush for Standing tickets, it's just a way of numbering tickets
-
Is it too good to believe the power of reporting tickets has resulted on no listings coming up:eek: there were loads of bidding listings taken down but now none are coming up at all! If it is so wohoo and bring on everyday until Sunday. If ppl have spare tickets they should offer the, up here FREE
Now time to play some muse at work and get excited about Sunday
Did you find the person offering you the ticket in the end then?
-
I know!!! And once they've been reported they are monitored for ticket selling in future. I mean it s not gna stop them but they will have to open a new account and their seller rating will go down to zero so will be harder for them to shift tickets hopefully. eBay, ticket master, see tickets etc don't really care as they make a profit either way, it's only the actual people that want to go that loose out in the end so it makes sense that we should be the ones to try and make it as difficult as possible for the resales on eBay, gumtree etc. don't even get me started on how sites like viagogo p*** me off coz there are some well dodgy issues with official (not mentioning names so I don't get sued) selling tickets on there at sky high prices. They deny it but they reserve a certain amount to sell to these companies so they make a huge profit, on top of the fees they charge for emailing tickets!?! Wtf! How can it cost £2.50 to email a ticket. The fees for the Glastonbury ticket were ridiculous this year, when I first went to glas ticket was under 100 and fees reasonable, this year feels like iv sold a little bit of my soul to pay for the fees on the £200+ ticket
Sigh, I will just have to win the lottery and start my own festival hahaha I would only sell to fans, and would only charge the proper fee for the cost of posting. Also I would make it so that instead of charging £5-7 processing fee I would ask for a £2.50 donation to a charity. That way no one can say I am making a profit after the cost of ticket. And ticket would be reasonable to
Rant over
I don't know if you noticed but someone offered you a ticket a few pages back...
