People who subscribe to the mailing list usually get pre-sale codes.
Thanks I thought I was signed up to the mailing list but have never received such a code. Perhaps I'm not signed up to it after all. Is there somewhere on the official site where I could sign up, or check that I am?

Just a question about the tour dates that are hopefully being announced today; is it possible to kind of "reserve" tickets before they go on general sale? I've been to Muse gigs before but never been the one buying the tickets, and I'm sure a friend of mine reserved them or something before they went on sale. Or did I dream it?

The fact that Ticketone (the dealer of all italian tickets) has put Muse down there means that some news are coming soon. Which is something we already knew
I said sorry already!

They're not really advertising a tour. They're advertising that they may inform you of a tour at some point.
Good point...I feel my original post was a little pointless now. My apologies

The guy who posted it originally said that it's new to the website, in that it wasn't there last week. So, I guess it's possible that they are just listening to some of the speculative info, but I don't really know how websites like that work tbh. I'm not sure if they're allowed to advertise a tour for a band without having official news or whatever.

I don't know if anyone else saw this over on Muse Live, but someone posted up this link:
If you scroll down, you'll see that Muse are on "Ticket Alert"

I'm just going by the places that show up on the map thing on my muse app. Sucks Scotland is close enough to their home country to be toured a bit more means I am going to have to find some method of persuasion if I want to see them more than once next year.
Depending on your location, it could be easier to get tickets for somewhere in the North of England (though I'm not sure they usually play anywhere in the East such as Newcastle/Sunderland etc).

Keep me alive at least?
Does anyone know how hard tickets usually are to get for the SECC?
Do they only usually play that venue in Scotland? I imagine that might impact on how easy/difficult it is.

I think it helped that there were big gaps between most of the gigs I went to. Enough time to get super-excited again. I think Reading was the most excited I've ever been for any gig in my life, knowing that I was about to experience OoS in full.
Yeah, I think every gig I've been to has had about a year in between, so maybe not enough time. I was so hyped about seeing OoS in full too, and from what I heard it was great...

I wish I could go to different gigs all over the country. Perhaps I'm not as much of a dedicated fan as I thought...

Be prepared for your first gig to be emotional. My first Muse gig certainly was. I was almost in tears when they came on stage (O2 November 09).
I've practically burst into tears and hyperventilated simultaneously (not a pretty sight) each time I've seen them, too. Mega emotional.

Reading through this thread, I think it's fair to say that the TR tour was pretty well-received amongst fans (myself included), but the three Muse gigs I've been to have been since the release of TR and therefore the gigs have been heavily influenced by it. I think the upcoming tour will be pretty epic and it will be nice to see the setlist shaken up a bit; I enjoyed Leeds last year for this reason (despite the fact I couldn't actually see anything ).
As long as they come to the North of England and don't decrease the setlist time by half an hour like they did during my first gig (so they could hop on a ferry to Dublin, I believe) then I'll be happy and I can't wait to get my ticket
Speculation on future gigs/tours
