  1. Yeah, P1's our first year of school (4-5/6 year olds) What's year 9?

    Your fire drills last's the whole day :eek: We had one today in the middle of PE. I had to run around the full building (it's massive) in the ice and cold and line up on a step in the middle of the playground :indiff: At least I wasn't in my gym shorts and plimsoles :LOL:

  2. hmm... so many to choose from... too difficult to choose one :) im going to say anything of showbiz, most stuff off of OoS and most of BHaR :D whats yours?

  3. It's fine :)

    I'm not really worried about braces. I think my teeth are fine but I'm getting braces from the NHS because it's not cosmetic and they might affect my speech and eating (load of nonsense).

    Great! I hope you do :D

    It really depends on what mood I'm in and how I'm feeling. I used to really like drawing but I just can't be bothered with it now. I have to have my drawings perfect if I'm doing them and I get really annoyed if there not. All the teachers make me do portraits for leaving cards and things but I'll just say no now because I really don't like drawing people.

    I'm getting quite worried again. There were some people from my class and the other class round our estate and they were dropping rubbish and kicking footballs everywhere. When my mum and dad went out to tell them to stop they were cheeky and answered back to them so they phoned the police. I sit at the same group as Emma, I was working with Linzi, and I hate Gary and the other class. There all popular people. And I've got school tomorrow too :( Very worried.

  4. Today I held a sheep heart :D

    I don't really know why but I was worried about getting more stomachaches and my tablets not working so I distracted myself by thinking about Matt :) It worked too. It's just some days I get really panicked about stuff. That's a shame :( €95 for a calculator :eek: I think that's about £60 something pounds.

    Schools been ok. The teachers doing our highschool reports just now. We got two of the academy teachers in today, chemistry and biology. The lady was cutting up this sheep heart and all the blood was coming out while we were holding it. Any other day would have been fine but I couldn't look at one part because I've got the stomach problems. The chemistry guy stained our sink and table with some yellow stuff (in the new school too :LOL:) and talked to us about eating sodium.

    I got impressions and X-rays done today. Functional braces, train tracks and two extractions. Ah well. My mum said worst case scenario they might break my jaw and move it forward if I have an under bite. So positive :rolleyes:

    Have you finished history assessment now?

  5. 4/15 is good. Least it's not 1 :)

    I stress over everything too. Even non-stressful things stress me :LOL: I've been having quite alot of problems lately. Mostly with my moods and psychological stuff and my pacings getting a bit out of hand too. My mum says that's a sign of a mental disorder. Oh dear.

  6. It didn't post my message :indiff:

    So how've you been? Did your history assignment go okay? I've not really done anything lately. My assessment didn't go too well. I only got 91% :( The new person who joined our top group, Mya (who I've hated since she joined team 'popular') got more than all of us. 96%! Very unhappy :(

  7.

    Yes, we'll inform him, Please repeat the name.

    Beth Gelert

    That day Llewellyn little loved

    The chase of hart and hare;

    And scant and small the booty proved,

    For Gelert was not there.

    Unpleased, Llewellyn homeward hied,

    When, near the portal seat,

    His truant Gelert he espied

    Bounding his lord to greet.

    But when he gained the castle-door,

    Aghast the chieftain stood;

    The hound all o’er was smeared with gore;

    His lips, his fangs, ran blood.

    Llewellyn gazed with fierce surprise;

    Unused such looks to meet,

    His favourite checked his joyful guise,

    And crouched, and licked his feet.

    Onwards, in haste, Llewellyn passed,

    And on went Gelert too;

    And still, where’er his eyes he cast,

    Fresh blood-gouts shocked his view.

    Overturned his infant’s bed he found,

    With blood-stained covert rent;

    And all around the walls and ground

    With recent blood besprent.

    He called his child – no voice replied –

    He searched with terror wild;

    Blood, blood he found on every side,

    But nowhere found his child.

    “Hell-hound! My child’s by thee devoured,”

    The frantic father cried;

    And to the hilt his vengeful sword

    He plunged in Gelert’s side.

    Aroused by Gelert’s dying yell,

    Some slumberer wakened nigh;

    What words the parent’s joy could tell

    To hear his infant’s cry

    Concealed beneath a tumbled heap

    His hurried search had missed,

    All glowing from his rosy sleep

    The cherub boy he kissed.

    No hurt had he, nor harm, nor dread,

    But, the same couch beneath,

    Lay a gaunt wolf, all torn and dead,

    Tremendous still in death.

    Ah, what was then Llewellyn’s pain!

    For now the truth was clear;

    His gallant hound the wolf had slain

    To save Llewellyn’s heir.

    This ones popular in our school :)

    Oor wee schools a great wee school,

    it's made of bricks and plaster,

    the only thing that's wrang wi it is the baldy heided master.

    He goes to the pub on a Saturday night and he goes to church on Sunday,

    he prays to god to gie him strength,

    to murder the weans on Monday

    That's three good ones I know. I can find more though cause we have poems and things on all the school doors :D Schools fine, we had the trip yesterday and went down a mine in the pitch dark. I lost count of how many times I bashed my head of the roof :LOL:

    Sorry for taking forever to answer :$

  8. Thank you :D I think we get first choice of lockers if we want them next year too. I only have an enormous reading book, a jotter I always mix up with the school ones a "target sheet" and probably important letters from the school in my bag. I don't have to carry it around though. I done it all last night three pages long and I had to keep reprinting it all because I wrote King Edward IV + Catherine Parr and I forgot to put some of the queens in red then my computer died on me before I printed it :(

    There used to be a palace but it had to be knocked down because the owner wanted more money so he mined out underneath it so it started collapsing and sinking. Chatelherault is on a steep hill caused by the mining too. There's quite a lot of history and myths and things around here. The best ghost I think is the Black Lady.

    Not heard them. Im fine :) You?

  9. I WON THE QUIZ!!! :dance::party::dance: So happy :D First time in years by only one point :dance:

    Thank you :) Wow that's a lot, we have a family tree of kings and queens from Henry the Eighth, spelling and Maths. Castles are brilliant :D There was a palace in Hamilton (Hamilton Palace) where palace grounds is and the hunting lodge of the palace (Chatelherault) is in Larkhall. The palace had to be knocked down because of mining underneath it and it was sinking/collapsing. There are supposedly lots of ghosts around larkhall too. There's a fence separating the school and fields but good idea for PE. We might be eaten by the horses though :LOL: I can't think of any Scottish bands only bagpipes or something. I know lots of Scottish poems that I could show you though :)

  10. :( I hate losing things by a point. I've never really done history. In the quizzes that's always why I've lost to Daniel.

    Well, I wanted to be a fashion designer/dressmaker, but I realised that isn't really me, everyone goes on about how great my drawings are and that I should be an artist, but they don't make a lot of money and I wouldn't want to do that anyway. I want to play the drums but my dad says I'm a girl and bands don't have girl drummer. I worry a lot and even though I have years to decide I still dream about my job, my best options and my future. And I'm not at highschool yet :LOL: Two years. Wow that's not long.

    I prefer castles to be honest and I've been to summerlee hundreds of times. Our school used to be in the middle of the mainstreet but now it's down a tiny road in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fields :LOL: We're not allowed out anymore.

    That's a nice name. I had a friend called Olivia. Yeah I'm Chloe A :) Never heard of the Veils.

  11. Yeah. Glengowans never won yet I don't think. Always lost by one point :( What sort of job do you want?

    I'm off school because of the in-service days and the school trips to the Summerlee coal mine and miners cottages or something for our world war 2 topic.

    I don't think I've asked you yet but what's your name?

  12. Yeah :LOL: It's really easy though cause we do just about the same thing every week :) The quiz to get to the rotary had fifty questions so I'm wondering about the actual one :unsure: Yes I have to go. I was Chosen.

    I have a tenner so far and I'm going to save my school trip money too :D I'm off for 5 days then I'm of the next week too :) Have you the battle of the bands video with muse in it?

  13. Ah ok. I read that wrong :) Didnt do anything yesterday either. Perimeter of triangles, spelling test, mental Maths test, assembly and ICT. I didn't even get on the computer because Mrs Pegg was talking to us about them :( and at the assembly I was told I'd be going to the rotary quiz with a P5 and 6 :( Very sad day. I was already angry about not being allowed a drum set (even if I'd bought it with my own money :mad:) :supersad:

    It didn't snow that much this year. I don't care though. I like the rain better :) So how are you?

  14. I love Maths :) This sounds bad but I've been in top group for Maths/everything since P1 :$ So you started school today? I forgot that it was a different time from here :) Whoops

  15. I'll probably get enough exercise the amount of times we have to come up the fire exit and change my shoes to keep the carpet clean. Six times a day! :LOL: Me too :( Suppose that's one reason to come to Scotland. Extinct volcanoes and no big earthquakes often :) Yeah, we're reading a book called Divided City, It's about Glasgow, sectarianism, racism and asylum seekers. Maths is just revision (third year running) and topic is Natural And Manmade Disasters. Not really interesting. How's about you?

  16. Yeah, the school moving was quite good. The new one is awesome :awesome: The windows are pink and purple :D

    That's a shame :( At least you weren't that near it :)

  17. It's really good :) Yeah I'm back at school. We were of a couple of days last week for moving though.

    When Joshua came back from his holiday he said there was an earthquake over there :eek:

    Was it close to where you live?

  18. Seriously everyone I've talked to on here wants to live in Scotland/UK :LOL: I don't think it's that great here for all the people that get killed/murdered but then I've lived here all my life and I'm sorta used to it.

    I love hard to read books :D Wuthering heights is brilliant but Its not really that difficult. Only when Joseph speaks :)

  19. Larkhall in Scotland :D It's right next to a Hamilton :LOL:

    Whoops! I ment the other two, Bridsehead revisited and By Midnight :) Sorry

  20. Where abouts are you in New Zealand?

    I can't remember how many times I've re read Harry Potter :LOL: Don't think I've read the last two. Are they good?

  21. A boy in my class went to New Zealand before Christmas. He said it was really nice and there were lots of penguins :) My favourite books are Wuthering Heights, Harry potter and Fallen. What are yours?

  22. Can you really go to see Muse at 12? :ohmy: My dad said I'd have to be over 16 :indiff:

    Other bands I listen to are mostly The Cure, Florence, and occasionally Coldplay. What bands do you like?

  23. No, I'm only 11 so I don't now if I would be old enough to got and see her live, and I probably wouldn't be allowed anyway :(

  24. My favourites are Girl with One Eye, Drumming and Howl.

    Me too. None of my friends like Muse, Florence or anything else I listen to.:(
